Lucky!
Sure wish we could be a part of that visit. Believe it or not, I'm actually still pretty whipped. The nose is getting better but the body still knows it got its A kicked. Funny. Looks like the offending appendage will recover before the host.

And as for weather - every bit as bad here in Central Illinois as Tx, and we are in tall corn at the moment; considerably taller than a Lubbock - West Texas cotton field.

Wish you could be here too! Better you should take the time to recover properly, though, than go gallivanting around (with your nose in the air)...and then fall flat on your ... patootie.

Our tall corn got rather whipped by high winds the other day. Looks like some reduction in yield. Glad we bought insurance!

Hi, Annie! Ommms for both of you!

Ommms brother.
Years ago - many years ago. I drove my dad to and from his. He was fine the rest of his life.
Friday I have an "evaluation" appointment with the surgeon's office. Then in September I will have the procedure.

Here's our August schedule: 1) Home to Maine via Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut. Maine to home 2) Home to Florida and back

Texas in late October

Tim - - I am not the keeper of the list. I assume if one travels backwards through the ancient scrolls, one would be able to see the list of attendees for Maine. Perhaps if the campground was called. They would know which campers identified themselves as a mutant.

From eastern Iowa ...
Enjoying some R&R here til we head over to IL for a couple of days with Sue and Martin. Looking forward to seeing them and their place! Yippee!!! Sue said there is a Farmers' Market we can hit on Saturday morning. We're drooling just THINKING about all the fresh vegetables ....

Elizabeth and Mary, so sad for the scare you had. I believe that hate is rooted in fear and fear rooted in ignorance. I'd really like to kick those hateful, ignorant cowards in their *A*!!! But your approach of careful planning and trained preparedness is no doubt the best way. You are wise.

Oh no! Tell Martin that it was not in the MH, no whay. Signs were present warning as large vehicles not advisable. Trust me when i say that the picture i posted of the twists and turns does not do justice to that road. No way to sight see, just watch the road.

Thanks Richard. I had a some BP issues during surgery. Nothing serious - but it made the job harder due to bleeding during the process. I think it took a bit of a toll on me.
