We would put the tent up in a great location that was sure to get deep snow and then after a few snow storms we would go out to set traps and stay overnight in the snow covered tent. Be surprised how warm a tent can be in winter when there is a small catalytic heater left going for a couple of hours when you first get there. The downside was the Coleman lantern was needed almost constantly as if it wasn't a super sunny day you couldn't see worth beans. Still have fond memories of that style of camping even though it was a necessity way back when as we were helping with the household expenses.

The really nice thing was we setup and provisioned in September and when we got back to the tent in January, the Colman Stove, lantern and heater along with our sleeping bags and canned goods were all still there untouched. Like Wayne says, "Oh the good old days."
Where's the like/love button when I need it?!

Big thumbs up from these two mutants!

The Henry Ford Museam! Even if your a Chevy man.
The out door village at The Henry Ford.

Allow yourself at least a full day for each! Wonders of all sorts!

Crossing into Canada tomorrow. Just hopeing they don't try and take Mary's coffee creamer at the boarder. I'm sure it'll take more than just one Mounty to accomplish that! Lobstah here we come!

Does anyone know what time they shut the falls off at Niagra. Seams like a big waist of water to let it run all night.

This is how she rolls!
15 days old and already added almost a pound in her birth weight! She's a wonderful baby because she has a wonderful mother.

Wah shore!
My Dad retired from Ford. We were proud to see the Ford Museum and Village. The Edison building was most enchanting

Sorry to miss it, but might some of those baby pics "show" up in Maine, too?

Well Dave they seem to be doing pretty good without him. Kind of like Wallyworld continues without me!
