Thanx for the "head's up". The tolls and the possibility of one or more traffic tie-ups convinced me to "go around clown, go around". LOL
Night all. Good night Marty, Colleen, Barb, Denise, and Earlene.

There are two places that I refuse to drive anymore. Greater Chicago and the New England states. The tolls every 150 yards are a pain in the A$$

I-84 over the Newburg Beacon Bridge is the only way to go. There is a KOA in Newburg NY that makes it an easy day trip down to NYC. I-84 goes all the way to Sturbridge, MA. Take 20 over to I-290N then I-495N to I-95N and Northern points. If you want to see Boston stay at the big campground in Foxboro, Normandy Farms and day trip from there to Boston or the Cape.
Form Philly, pick up US-202 to I-287N to I-87N to I-84E. Avoid the hassle and stress.

Insomnia allows me to check the forum and do a little ketchup ....
We can report that Sue and Martin have a grand farmhouse that is historic and beautiful! It's like paradise out here on their farm. (I totally get why they don't full-time ... Although with their new luxury coach, they could cetainly do it! WOW!)
I'd post a pic of the farm from one of Joy's windows, except we no longer have a working fruit phone. It took a dip in the Lake today. Gotta hit an Apple store when we get to MI. Thankfully, we have insurance on it.
Today our hosts took us to a beautiful lake nearby for some kayaking. Sue and I were in the water, near a bank, when she pointed out a wild blackberry bush (?). I paddled over close, plucked some ripe berries off thorny twigs and dined right there in the kayak. Yum!!
Sue and Martin, you are such perfect hosts! Thanks for everything! We're having a lovely time. 🌈😁🌈
Ok, time to see if I can get a few more winks .... 😴

So glad son is doing better.... So you will be in MI when? We are going to find the Mississippi River source in August, then circle back through Wisconsin and Michigan..... Paths might cross....
Hoping to maybe stop by and see Marty on way up, then meet Ken in MN.... But dates arent quite set,

Di, we will be in MI the entire month of August, so let us know when you'll be coming through. Would love to have a mini. We will be in the UP the 3rd week of Aug with my older son and his gf, but other than that, we will be in the lower peninsula. (Not moving on to NY til the first of Sept.)

Great tip. We will use plastic. We pay our card off every month anyway. (We hate to carry a balance, so we don't.)
Hopefully, the RV parks won't be so busy after the first of September, which is when we'll be there.

Up. Coffee. 260 miles to Seaview Campgrounds in Eastport. 6 nites!
Who said lobstah? I don't know. Third base!
We did 209 thru the Delaware water gap, to 84, and 495 to 95. Sweet ride! A bit of a long-cut, but time we have.
Happy and safe trails to all y'all STMs!

So ok, after dinner last night the winds had calmed down considerably so we ventured back out on the lake and sailed the 5 miles to Mackinaw Island and back. I was able to get a couple of sunset photos and a photo of the deckmates ...
Cheers !!!

I think it's coming along extremely nice. Personally I'd rip out that carpet and put some type of hard floor in with throw rug(s) to make it comfy.
So is a pop-up TV next across from the two big recliners?
That's going to be one really nice ride once you define it to be "ready". Can't wait to see it.
