Mohhhmmmms for Joy and her riders! (This does make you Joyriders, you know!) Glad you have good people there, and a safe place to play the waiting game.

A big mutant hello to all & sundry (mostly sundry)! We started for Lobstah Land way too early. Any excuse to take a break from house painting! That means time to do rainbow things, currently in NW PA. There's an old time steam festival, national forests, Punxsutawney isn't too far, and right on site there is a Warrior Weekend fundraising event w/ all sorts of activities going on. Fireworks tonight. We got lucky to get a site on a busy weekend. Here are a few pics of that, but first, a couple pics of "reflections on leaving home."

In the meantime, we're looking forward to those lobstahs and clams and "ersters" too. Not to mention the company of some great mutant sundry folk. Bring 'em on!

Sorry, don't trust chiropractors, not with a back this abnormal. So, I'm left with two choices - Duke or Johns Hopkins. I'm meeting with the spine team - neurology, orthopedics, PT, OT, etc. I am hoping they have a viable plan. The tipping point for me is being unable to get in the motor home. On bad days, I'm stuck inside, and that's not why we camp.
I can only send Ohmms from way over to this side and offer you encouragement, I had my back done (similar but not exact) and the only problem that resulted was Dnise getting mad at the surgeon. The repair work not only fixed my back problems and pain but it returned me to my full six one and a tad height which she was not expecting.

She'll tell you whem we all meet along the rainbow.

Sue and Martin, if you get close to Strasburg PA check out this site for trains.
Full Steam Adventure - Strasburg Rail Road They run some of the finest steam locomotives on their line that get used in regular 'tourist' service.

No time for Ketchup, but here's an update:

Today, in the Canada Maritimes, the RVMs now present have passed an historic ponder by a vote of 2 to 0 via secret ballot, eh.

The almost Grand Curiosity in Bar Harbor will be known as the
"Nearly Grand BARrr HARrrbor Curiosity" (NGBHC).

and that all STMs present thereat shall not say "RVMs" but "ARrrVMs".

and that all STMs present at the OLT (Opening of the Lobstah Trap) at NGCHC shall (optionally) wear appropriate ARrrVM Pirate Headwear, be it headscarves or crappy hats, et al.

So.....umm....eh?

Mel and Kate - - Lucky for you to find a place that tries its hardest to get you done and keeps you informed on a regular basis. I can't deal with places that tell you they'll get you in at 10:00 a.m. and say nothing to you until noon and then 2:30. Work begins at 5:00. When you are not a regular customer, I've found that they put you on the burner behind the back burner. That really grates me. You're apparently dealing with a shop that understands that customer service is important. Travel easy.

Tuesday, the 9th, is launch date for us. The NGBHC sounds like it's going to be a hoot. We have to change our plans by leaving on the Saturday, the 20th. We have to take 3 GS to Florida on the 24th. Should be fun. :,) GM & GP have delivered the "don't bicker message". LOL

I love that! Joyriders! Whenever we refer to Mel and Kate in front of non RVMr's we should just say these two just take an RV and go off joyriding!

Welcome to our new mutants. See you soon I hope.

Healing ohms to Deb and words of support for Dale and prayers that the doctor knows his/her stuff.

Wishing Steve and Annie good vibes for a successful launch to the west.

Good wishes to mutants that have needs not mentioned. Hang in there. In time, it too will pass.

Ohmms and Mohmms to you folks with troubles. That sounds like a real good service shop. And definitely sound like y'all are making the most of an unfortunate situation.
