Tikka just wandered up front to complain about her lot in life ... and then to steal some of Betsy's rations.

Eight birds, five dogs, and as of today, only two humans. My son and three grandkids are moving out. The house renovations are underway. New kitchen and bathroom, whole house interior paint, floors refinishing. After three and a half years, we have our house back!

I seem to be in the room alone at the moment! 'Sokay. I talk to myself all the time anyway.

Thought I'd show you progress.
Tikka saw where I had placed Betsy and decided she would do likewise.

Sena takes everything to our bed, including water bottles. She can open the sports cap but sees no reason to close them. And although she carefully sits them down, on the bed the bottles rarely stay upright as she bounds off to get into something else. Of course this only happens in the center of the bed.

I soak up as much water as possible then lay down a towel followed by one of lily's pee pads then another towel.

I know your pain, Sue!

What an amazing time for you all. Stressful, yes, but at least it's good stress. Hang in there, eat mindfully, and buckle up for the ride!

Martin (driving right now) wants to know where you are & how far you plan to drive in a day. My tip is: don't stop at Enon Beach CG, Enon, Ohio. 😲

We have been avoiding tolls, so are slower than most, finding r o u g h, but beautiful roads & byways. Just now approaching the Atlantic coast to pick up US 1 for a whike. Eventually, we will be on I-95.

Drive well, be safe, see ya soon!

Wow! What a menagerie! And you are really brave to go thru such extensive renovations with that crowd. I'd suggest you move into your coach to avoid all the dusty chaos, but where ever would you put all those critters?
