Jim and Paula will be there on the 15th also. garsh.... had a major traffic jam
yesterday due to 2 big rigs crash and burn on I90. Took 5 hours to go 20 miles.

That was a long day. Made it safely tho. Carl, glad to see you're up here. See you Monday.

Steve, get well and back to rainbow land.

Be safe all.

Mary Ann and I got a head start of the consumption of wonderful lobster (just off the boat). MAW's was 1 1/2 lbs and mine was 1 3/4 lbs. We would highly recommend the Union River Lobster Pot in Ellsworth at 8 South Street. Just check the pics.

I know they're sideways. I'm a member of the iphone sideways club.

So the website indicates the lobstah are 1 1/4 to 5 lbs. But the price is Market... so what's the market say these days?

I know in another month the price should drop as the fall harvest is usually the best. At any price those looked delicious and worth every penny! We may not have made it but we knew it would be awesome when we planned it.

Oh yeah, worth every penny and it was worth the wait. With 2 wonderful glasses of German Riesling, 2 cups of coffee, and the lobstah and sides it came to $89 + tip. Not our usual evening meal out of the rainbow, but the devil made us do it. Our conscience is clear.

Steve - that's about what it is for the imitation version they sell at Red Lobster with a couple 1 1/4 pounders. You got a bargain. But the hunt for best value is on! Seek em out! Lol.

Drive well, be safe, see ya soon!
Oh my! No one travel I-95. I could have given you a nicer ride and a lot less stress.

Speaking of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" Me, Richard and Dave will be headed toward Bah Habbaa Monday!

Caught the movie on local station in Quebec, luckily I have seen the movie so many times I could understand what was happening even though it was in French. Spaghetti Western dubbed in French, what a international treasure!

Ha Wayne, can you hear me now! Way over there on the left coast! Sorry I haven't picked on you lately but picking on Dave and Richard has been a full time job!

Did you see the meteor shower the last couple of nights or do they have those on the left coast.

Heya! Turns out we didn't drive I-95 either. When we arrived at our friends' place outside Augusta & mentioned a street or two we had been on, their eyes got big and the comment was, "Oh my! You *did* come the back roads, didn't you?!"

I need to get a highlighter to mark all this in the atlas. It was very complicated, but the nav was avoiding tolls.

:

Nice work when you can get it, Tim (Mr Dependable).
The best thing that R and D can do is keep you "picking". The stipend that Mary gives us for doing "Tim toleration duty" is fun for R and D and peaceful for Dear Mary.
AND, this keeps R and D out of the house, so Ann and Nola are also happy!
It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!
Oh, the humanity
