To the best of my knowledge there are signs all along the roads leading to a border crossing access point stating you can't bring weapons into Canada. I am not in favor of our archaic laws but they are our laws.

They are both lucky they didn't lose everything they had with them as this is one option the crown has in cases such as these.

Side note: I thought there would be a Tim, A Dave, a Martin or some familiar names in the article.
Not a Martin, not if guns are involved, and those Arkies are too smart fer dat! Now a Dave ... ya never know 'bout them Dave-types!

And the Union River, quite picturesque, begging for a kayak, although not mine: too many rapids!

The downtown has a number of very inviting shops. I hardly spent anything at all! 😉😉😉

Barb for you ..................................

The Canadian Park Rangers are advising hikers in our Banff National Park and other Rocky Mountain parks to be alert for bears and take extra precautions to avoid an encounter. They advise park visitors to wear little bells on their clothes so they make noise when hiking. The bell noise allows bears to hear them coming from a distance and not be startled by a hiker accidentally sneaking up on them. This might cause a bear to charge.

Visitors should also carry a pepper spray can just in case a bear is encountered. Spraying the pepper into the air will irritate the bear's sensitive nose and it will run away. It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear scat so you have an idea if bears are in the area.

People should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat. Black bear droppings are smaller and often contain berries, leaves, and possibly bits of fur. Grizzly bear droppings tend to contain small bells and smell of pepper.

Two ways of being pulled over for a secondary inspections. 1: Have an NRA sticker on the window. 2: Have Texas license plates.

At home I have the toy iCarry but never on the road. To many federal installations to camp in and maybe a boarder or two to cross.

It's amazing that all it takes to make adults revert to infancy is a cooked sea roach. Why is it that lobster is the only food that requires a bib after the age of 2?

I have some pepper spray that I bought just before going fulltime. I keep it and almost everything I own locked away least Sena gets ahold of it. If I ever need of a weapon I'll either ask the offender to wait while I get it out of the locked drawer or threaten to sic Sena on them.

We have some excellent videos of the rock bound coast of Maine during a windy day. But alas, videos are too long to transfer via email to my computer, and too long to post on this thread. However, Mary Ann thinks she was successful in sending it thru facebook.

Youse guys will have to view them when we're sitting at a mini, midi, almost grand, or grand Curiosity.
