Cost is unbelievable if it wasn't for the Burger Kings, donuts, and popcorn. (my new diet).

Steve, You passed a nice KOA just up I-87 a little ways and an easy ride in the TOAD to take in NYC. Also, just up the road from you is The Villages at Turning Stone RV Park. It is a FHU CG at a Casino and is real nice.
For Niagara, if that is where you are going there are two parks we have stayed at for the 3 times we have been there. In Gasport there is Niagara Heartland Campground. At Passport America prices it was $15 a night and only 30 miles or so from the Falls. Another one is in Wilson, NY. It is Daisy Barn Campground. It is right on Lake Ontario and 20 miles from the falls. Fills up real fast.
Where are you headed after the Buffalo area?

R U an RV Mutant too?
So, I got a text from Ranger (furbaby to Pushedaround, AKA Larry and Cheryl):
Ranger says "Hi"
Me: Hi Ranger!
All of us here in Bar Harbor say "hello".
Say Hi to your folks and brothers. Now give them back the phone.

I can't believe the gC in NE of ME is coming to a close. Missing this one really hurts. And, we won't be at the Hill County Curiosity either.
While I'm bummed to have missed this one - I want to thank youse for the great pics and for carrying on many of our mutant traditions and creating new ones. Eating, drinking, laughing, campfiring, lobstah tossing, and well, you know what it is.... mutating. It's great to live it with you from the armchair.
I suppose it's too soon to to start pondering something in AZ this winter.
We are RV Mutants..

Papa Steve continue your travels safely! Today two more sets of mutants depart. Ed and Jackie will be heading out followed by Richard and Ann (now known as King Richard and Queen Ann).
I must say there was some concern at the campfire last night, Ed will be travaling quickly due to time restraints and King Richard, well, let's just say, may be travaling in circles! Travel safe you mutants!

Good morning mutants!
The weather has finally taken a turn for the better today. Sunny and cool! No rain and the high today will be in the mid 70's. What a relief!
Travel safely mutants!

A mutant share......
Denise and I were convinced, by our RVing buddies John and Marie, to buy a plastic thing-a-me that is placed on your BBQ grill before you start it up.
You cook your meal on this plastic sheet and it cuts out about 99.7% of the flameups and stuff that normally happens.
The ones we bought were from out local DIY store Canadian Tire. For a look-see check Cookina Reusable BBQ Cooking Sheet | Canadian Tire Sure makes clean up easy.
YMMV.

Lunch with a view ... Belfast, Maine:
An improved view:
Say, is this Bah Hahbah? No, its a cah in the hahbah:
Look! The lobstahs are after it already!
(And the police, & the fire brigade, & the Coast Guard diver, & most of the tourists....) The driver will never again forget to set the hand brake when he gets out to offload his dinghy! The dinghy, of course, may be his only mode of transport for a while.
Here's another tourist tra... err, lobster trap... seat. Very handy on the walk back uphill from the harbor!

We had such a wonderful time in the UP with my older son, Michael, and his dgf, Elizabeth.
This was in the brewery/restaurant in Grand Marais. The pizza is amazing there!
