Looks pretty dry on the land up there...August is almost over and I can't believe that grass hasn't gone dormant yet in our part of the great plains...

Finally got our Tiffin back after a month and a half in the shop since Wyoming. No worries cause this is our view from Lake of the Ozarks. This is what glamping is all about! Cheers from Mutant #140

I am getting off my "throne" ( in the bathroom ) long enough to check in..
Most importantly, I also wish PaPa Steve safe travels...
I am so thankful for ALL that brought this gC together, more about that later..
For the travel report, I only went by one stretch 3 times so I could get a picture of the "birthplace of Virginia sign" in a town. Can anyone guess where we landed for the night???
I continue to hope Queen Ann will learn her left from her right.
I am still laughing about the olympics...
More later.

Guess where a bunch of RVMs will be gathering exactly one year from today? You give up? In Idanha, Oregon reveling from having watched RVMoon defeat old man Sol. If you haven't made reservations for the August 17-23 RVMoon GC now is the time! Only $30 will hold your FHU site or $20 for dry camping. They also have some rental units available.

I am back, Queen Ann pulled me away for some leftovers...
I want to continue to wish Ed & Jackie safe travels too. A special thanks for his building the crepes & constructing the fire structure, then burning it down.
As the rest that will ride the rainbow later, if you pass me, I will still be following the left turn, or the " other " left commands from Queen Ann to run in circles.
Steve would be tickled to see what he helped start
I will ponder on a poem that describes the " gC ", but my brain is not talented...

Checking in: glamping at Lakeside KOA in beautiful Ft. Collins, CO. We spent last nite at the Flying J truck stop in Limon in swear that has got the be the busiest truck stop in the world. Lot was full; we parked on one of the non- existent scale ramps. Trucks in & out all nite long.
Did a grueling 130+ miles today due to two really bad wrecks We sat on 70 for 45 minutes due to the wreck happening on westbound lane where they had both lanes of traffic running. 😁. Wreck on 470 caused stop & go traffic for a long time.
We have a spa site with patio, table & chairs & a hot tub. Going to take in ft. Collins old town, Estes park & maybe visit with Don's kin. Hope to do a lot of relaxing, too.
And......I have just discovered someone cartooned on my chili pepper table cloth. Jeff........?

More! There's an adorable "locomotive " than runs Thursday the campground & gives you a ride around the lake. Gonna have to do that!

(And the police, & the fire brigade, & the Coast Guard diver, & most of the tourists....) The driver will never again forget to set the hand brake when he gets out to offload his dinghy! The dinghy, of course, may be his only mode of transport for a while.
Here's another tourist tra... err, lobster trap... seat. Very handy on the walk back uphill from the harbor!

Sue... what a day! Great pics and those oysters and lobstah looked delicious! Living the dream!
