I'll miss y'all and look forward to the next time. Campfires & laughter await. Travel safely, y'all.

Hi Sue & Martin, we had good WX as we drifted SW toward AR. Settled in for the night & hope all mutants are doing well...

Queen Ann gave up sayin right & left. At one corner, she just pointed. LOL

It was amazing! We all enjoyed our times both together and as we explored the area separately.

Back at the S&B, back to the grind tomorrow. Hope others traveling are safe and settled in for the night.

OK, now it's time to start counting down to the next one!

Pretty Marsh - Acadia National Park

In Arrrrrcadia National Park (I know, no RRRRR unless you're a piiiiirate), I stopped at Pretty Marsh and walked down this trail towards the water. This led to another trail along the water way which I followed for a good 1/4 mile. There were these picnic tables and fire rings scattered about along this trail, separated quite a bit (500 yards or so between each one). Here's what they look like and your view of the water sitting at one...

Deer Isle, ME

Along the route to Deer Isle, I ran into this bridge. It looked more impressive than these pictures may show, but it also struck me as being odd that it couldn't really handle much weight. e.g., the signs state trucks need to stay 500 feet apart as they go over the bridge and as you drive over that bridge, there are 500 foot markers along the way.

Itchy and scratchy checking in...it never ceases to amaze me how I manage to get so dirty and full of hay when I have horse and goat critters to feed...had a very full day...3 trips to a farm with horses, goats, chickens, dog and cats, 3 trips to another farm with horses, dogs and a cat,3 trips to let another set of dogs out, and 2 trips for another trio of dogs...and I wo#@ed my regular 4 hours at the non profit. Dirty and tired Marty headed to shower and bed
..night all you mutants!
