Yesterday after we dropped the coach off at Ford, we looked for an ATM. We use BoA, so used the app to find the nearest one. Turns out the only ATM within 100 miles is in the basement of the student union at Notre Dame university. The gruff gate guard finally let us in and we did find it. However, it is a beautiful campus. Now I can say that I went to Notre Dame

No I don't. They do make a special sensor that has a screen on it to prevent the beads from getting into the valve.

Oh, and BTW, you should have given the Ford technician the key to the door.

Yeah! I figured he'd come back with something like that BB he has for a brain running around in his box car head. Oh well, he missed out.

Still want to make a batch of the Habanero jelly with the carrots in it... will have to wait until tomorrow.
Save me one, save me one, a hot one, mama. Do you ship?

Update on Free to Roam the Rainbow...

Monday while I was running errands, Annie was at her mom and dads. Her mom had taken Tom to dialysis. Annie heard someone calling her from outside. She went out and found her mom sitting in the driveway. Her knee had gone out. Not the first time and won't be the last. Annie took 2 patio chairs to the drive and helped her mom into one and elevate her leg with the other.

After a bit her mom walked using 2 canes into the house. Later she was able to get to the car and Annie drove her to pick Tom up at dialysis. He was very weak and when they got back to the house, we and neighbor could not (4 of us) get him out of the car.

So off to the emergency room we went. It was determined that they had taken too much fluid from him in the dialysis process. So they doctored him up and sent him home. It was still difficult to get him in the house but we managed.

So with that - we're staying a few more days to be sure he's ok. He seems to be fine and is back to dialysis today. We hope he comes out of their on his own two feet this afternoon and Friday. If so, that will be our signal that we can depart Central Illinois.

We wish they would move to assisted living but they won't. Like most homes here - they have a basement and there are steps at both the front and rear entery. It's not ideal and worries us. Plus mom has the washer / dryer in the basement and the big freezer. Dad can't go down there any more and she shouldn't.

So Ommms Generators on high. And let's just hope we are on the road Monday.

Thanks mutants in advance for your Omms!

Okay, it did happen. This is from Party Central on Whidbey Island, WA., Earlene got pictures. All I can say is that when I sat down with Dennis on that "nice area," he got a funny look on his face that made me want to go sit somewhere else. Fortunately Denise told him to calm down and not attack me.

Oh, and he has some pictures of me playing with Barb's monkey (Sena).

And finally, there are the two beauties, Barb and Denise.

Stay tuned! More monkeying around to come.

You got it ... ommmm, ommmmm!

How frightening for all of you! It's so hard to give up your home and your independence, even if you acknowledge it would be for the best. (Not telling you anything you don't already know.) Sadly, it may take something even more catastrophic to make it happen.

Ommmm.

Sad situation. Have the same issue with my MIL. She really should be in assisted living, but will not leave the farm. DW and SIL do what they can, just a matter of time.

Ohhhmmmmmms, ohhhhmmmmmmms
