Yes, we will be in Fredericksburg - is that where you were thinking? Mater of fact, make it two for me if you have them.

Thanks.

Hey, Colleen! No specific plans, but we could be there, since Tucson is in our general path. We'd enjoy seeing you again.

'Mornin', muteys, one & all! We are gradually edging our way out of New England...Maine to New Hampshire and on. The scenery continues to be fabulous, and the seafood the same. I brought a steamed lobster (not tired of it yet), so have homemade lobster salad ready for lunch.

Found another cg for big rigs to avoid. Fine for the under-40s, but what we were breezily told would be a pull-through for this 45-footer w/toad is barely that. Had to disconnect just to park, narrowly missing some important stuff. The place is Great Meadow cg in Chichester, NH. Under different circs, I might stop here again.

Meantime, it's On the Road Again for us. Ommms and mohmmmms as needed. Cheers!

Beware muties coming from the North East!

Stay north, The Discovery has landed in Hot Alabama, 97 today plus high humidity!

Ac's ran all night to get it livable inside! Clothes soaking wet from setting up coach. Near impossible to dry off after a shower.

Oh, but great little smiles from two of our grandkids=Worth it!

Update on GC in Fredericksburg TX: Oct 31- Nov. 5

The RV park that can handle our size of group is:
FREDERICKSBURG KOA
5681 East US Highway 290
Fredericksburg, TX 78624
(830) 997-4796
fdbgkoa@beecreek.net

All member’s must call to make their reservations and at the time of reservation they will give you a 10% discount on the rate too.

So to make reservations you need to call (830) 997-4796. Let them know you are part of the RVMutant Rally.

There is no river that runs through or by it, but Lady Bird Johnson Park is not far away from this RV park and you can fish there. I am looking for river access for canoeing etc. too.

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

3 miles South of Fredericksburg on Hwy. 16 S (Call park for directions, GPS is not always accurate). Baseball and softball fields, swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic tables and fishing, nature trail

The crown jewel of Fredericksburg’s recreational parks is the 150 acre Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park. Rolling hills and rambling Live Oak Creek set the stage for a beautiful day. It is a place to rest, relax and enjoy nature. Five pavilions (four with barbecue pits) serve as the spot for birthday parties, class and family reunions, school field trips, wedding and more. Baseball/softball fields are available for a casual game or can be reserved. A sand volleyball court and outdoor basketball courts are available. The park offers a beautiful setting for large and small groups no matter the occasion.

Monday while I was running errands, Annie was at her mom and dads. Her mom had taken Tom to dialysis. Annie heard someone calling her from outside. She went out and found her mom sitting in the driveway. Her knee had gone out. Not the first time and won't be the last. Annie took 2 patio chairs to the drive and helped her mom into one and elevate her leg with the other.

After a bit her mom walked using 2 canes into the house. Later she was able to get to the car and Annie drove her to pick Tom up at dialysis. He was very weak and when they got back to the house, we and neighbor could not (4 of us) get him out of the car.

So off to the emergency room we went. It was determined that they had taken too much fluid from him in the dialysis process. So they doctored him up and sent him home. It was still difficult to get him in the house but we managed.

So with that - we're staying a few more days to be sure he's ok. He seems to be fine and is back to dialysis today. We hope he comes out of their on his own two feet this afternoon and Friday. If so, that will be our signal that we can depart Central Illinois.

We wish they would move to assisted living but they won't. Like most homes here - they have a basement and there are steps at both the front and rear entery. It's not ideal and worries us. Plus mom has the washer / dryer in the basement and the big freezer. Dad can't go down there any more and she shouldn't.

So Ommms Generators on high. And let's just hope we are on the road Monday.

Thanks mutants in advance for your Omms!

Ohms!!!!
Get thee to a punnery
