Denise and I will not be headed south this winter. We have plans to do an Alaskan Cruise in the spring and then head out to an RVMooning in Oregon in late summer. Only have so much money for frivolities. The winter of '18 may find us parked in a driveway in Texas City Texas.

Barb, Earlene and Wayne thanks so much for being so much fun to hang out with. The silliness was so contagious. Love you lot one and all.

Good morning mutants near and far! It's raining again in Central Illinois... seems to be a daily occurrence these days. It's gone from hot, humid and dew soaked to just plain soaked. Today I will try to get us reservations on down the road. It's time to go.

I doubt one needs or uses deodorant when one lives up with the polar bears and eskimos...

French women rarely use deodorant... they just wash a lot.

I got in your car with only coconut oil for deodorant on... I heard no complaint.

We have a rain forecast for every day this week and next... might put a damper on the labor day crowd...

By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
Stood the wigwam of Nokomis,
Daughter of the Moon, Nokomis.
Dark behind it rose the forest,
Rose the black and gloomy pine-trees,
Rose the firs with cones upon them;
Bright before it beat the water,
Beat the clear and sunny water,
Beat the shining Big-Sea-Water.

We are here..... For 3 nights... High tomorrow is 72....
