Unhappy

OK, Get ready, here it comes....are you ready? Really ready??? The journey is the destination. And, I still have no dishwasher

We are having some very warm weather here, but the weatherman says it is going to drop below 90 this weekend.

I really envy you being in Missouri. If I could only be there I would bop over and see my mother and my little sister. My little sister is younger, but lots taller than me.

I had a peripheral vision test this morning. It was much better than the one I had last year. Of course, after the one last year I had a tumor removed from my pituitary gland. my opthamologist was pretty happy. Not as happy as I was tho. I was only weeks from being completely unable to drive. God is good. Now my vision is completely restored.

In my spare time I have been taking the Diamond shield and glue off the MoHo. I read online that the best thing to use is the 3M adhesive remover. Man, are they WRONG. I found out that any product with an oil base that is thick and will not run off the cap is better. I was so frustrated with it, I grabbed a bottle of sunscreen and rubbed it on, left it sit for about 20 minutes and went back and scraped, That glue just rolled off of there. Right now I am waiting a shipment of plastic razor blades. I only had two of them and Art had one and I had one, I used mine up just doing about 2 square feet. I found them on Amazon and I am getting 50 more for about $10. Now I need to hit the stores for the sunscreen I know is going to be on sale soon. I knew there had to be something better than that 3M stuff and knew that oil is the base of most adhesives and oil is the product to use to thin out adhesives. Art thought I was crazy, but I think I have him convinced now. Oh, not that I am crazy, but that a thick oil based product works better.

BTW, I want to send my condolences to the chicken family. I hope they take pity on his murderer. After all, I feel sure he has repented for his sins and regrets his transgressions.

Time for me to get ready to hit the school pickup line. You all take care, and If you can , please send me the time and place for Mr. Chicken's funeral .

The journey is the destination.

So glad you have passed that test Ro...sie! You'll now be fully welcomed by all as the newest RVMutant and hopefully I'll be meeting you sometime in the future out on the rainbow.

One of the elders will bestow upon you your own official RVM number once they see you've completed that incredibly rigorous entry examination.

Welcome aboard!

We have us another mutant!

Welcome to the Rainbow RVM144! (We got a gross a mutants now!)

I assume you are Rosie - and DH is Art. Pretty sure our Diamond Shield will need to come off one day soon and we can have you over for a scraping party!

We have landed in Louisburg KS about 13 miles from RVM45. Time to shower and catch a nap...

Mutants - jump in and welcome Rosie. She's gross!

Welcome RVM144.. I hope the "Gross" nickname dosn't stick, but it is just what mutants do... Ann was nicknamed "Queen" in Maine & I have had to bow down to her ever since...

Think about Texas for Halloween if you can make it... No pressure, but we will talk about you if you are not there... lol

Our new neighbor just got the indoctrination pitch... not on iRV2 but one never knows. They are very nice folks but may just fit in anyway! They can't make the 10 or 15 year cutoff some parks have on rigs. Theirs is a 2000 model year.

Our family of seven first walked across on those same rocks in 1957.
My familyof four in 1975.
It's a truly fine place!
Thanks for the flashbacks

As we continue our journey down the Blue Ridge, the rains continue. Got so heavy this afternoon, we pulled into a picnic area. This drive turned into a narrow 2 lane that wound around all the way to the top of the mountain. If it wasn't for the clouds rolling across the parking lot, I bet we would have a wondetful view.

The rain had the already low hanging branches way to low. Had to use the center of the road to avoid most of them. When the weather clears, I'm going topside to see if I need a new tv antenna or a/c shroud. Some of them sounded like they hit pretty hard. Oh well, we don't seem to have any leaks, I guess that's a good thing.

Rain has stopped, but since it is already after 6pm, guess we'll just sit here for the night. As long as a ranger doesn't kick us out.

Jake

WE have had a real drop in temps here. We were 97* about 3:30pm and now we are in the mid 70's. No rain as of yet. e have the slides pulled in on the MOHO and are hoping it rides out the called for storm ok.

Yes, I am rosie and Art is the guy I let think he is boss. I am a retired paper maker and he retired from the FAA and then went back to work a few months later for a company that staffs level 2 air traffic control towers. Our grand daughter is Kahlan and lives with us. She is 8. We have two Yorkies Gracie and Rockie. Kahlan's mom lives with us too. she works the mid night shift, so having them with us is better for both of them. ( me too)

Flagship, You can call me gross, as long as you remember that 144 is a great gross. Nothing like being "great" ( guess I got him didn't I? )

You all take care, keep the shiney side up. God Bless.
