Yes, I am rosie and Art is the guy I let think he is boss. I am a retired paper maker and he retired from the FAA and then went back to work a few months later for a company that staffs level 2 air traffic control towers. Our grand daughter is Kahlan and lives with us. She is 8. We have two Yorkies Gracie and Rockie. Kahlan's mom lives with us too. she works the mid night shift, so having them with us is better for both of them. ( me too)

Flagship, You can call me gross, as long as you remember that 144 is a great gross. Nothing like being "great" ( guess I got him didn't I? )

You all take care, keep the shiney side up. God Bless.
Welcome Rosie & Art! We are the Idaho mutants in the beautiful part of the state. We are sometimers but all traveling has been put on hold while I caregive for my 92 yr old dad who is on hospice. Hey Six!

Where you been hiding? We expect all Mutants to check in -- even is it is just to insult Wayne, Possum or Tim. Are you the current holder of the mops and brooms? It's Rosie's turn to do clean up detail.

Welcome to the insanity, Rosie and Art! You'll find some PMs from me with important info about how we do things 'round here. My apologies for the late welcome. My internet was absent most of the day.

If you have any questions, suggestions or just random observations just shout them out. We don't stand on ceremony here. Oh, and unless you are looking forward to a highly groan worthy experience, don't accept any offers from Wayne.

Welcome aboard Rosie and Art. I see you hail from SC. My son lives in Summerville, so maybe we'll cross paths.

BTW, has anyone passed ro_sie the broom, dustpan & mop yet? (Newest mutant gets it from the previous newby, cuz somebody's got to clean up around here!) Who's RVM143?

Apologies for my senior memory deficit! Would that be an SMD?

On edit: I obviously had not completed ketchup before jumping in, since Barb has already asked where the mop & broom are. Six, are you the current holder?

Cheers!

Hi Wayne. So you are going to be pressurised to buy a new BMW? We have a similar ongoing situation here. Our '09 Genesis has recently being going flat on us overnight. I suspected the relatively new battery was going bad so I took it to the dealer yesterday. After a long wait, I'm told the battery is good but there is a small (3mA) draw which will take some time to track down. Justin, our service writer, knows about our problems with mice infesting the cabin air ducting and gives me a degree of concern as to the cause of the current draw. Anyway, he tells me he will give me a loaner (one of the perks of being a Genesis owner) and, since the only one available is, in his opinion, too small, he will give me a new Genesis off the lot. I had to undergo a bit of sales talk before I left and, no doubt, will have to suffer some more when I return. I don't know why but he really wants to buy our old car! I have to say that I am totally underwhelmed by the new car.

Re your problem with the Lincoln, have you considered fitting a Toad Charger? Then you wouldn't have to stop every two hours (unless, that is, you have other reasons to do so)

We've been home since Sunday and have still not moved back into the S&B. Are we nuts??? 😲🙄

Next trip out is just under a month away, so we aren't even putting her away in the shed this time. This is a dangerous precedent! 😉

Cheers!

ro_sie, as RVM143 I hereby bequeath to you the RVmutant broom, mop, and dust pan. It is now your duty as RVM144 to maintain the mutantdom in all it's glory.

It would seem that you have been bitten by the Fulltimer bug. A harmless critter that installs wanderlust in all who encounter it. Victims realize the joy and simplicity of life on the rainbow where there is never any grass to mow or snow to shovel.
