Little update on the barn raising, by the way I was the ground crew!

Two of my boys that actually work together pretty good. Now yesterday at the lake they were pretty competitive on the surf boards.

Mini C with dieseltech..... Just had to make a call to gloat, to Wayne... But Wayne was shopping with Earlene, so short call.

Turns out we are near where Ken grew up, so our driving tour was first rate.... In Wisconsin.....

I'm not going to ask her but I think Earlene would agree with you.

Shopping as in "groceries." I have to maintain my shape. BTW, you can't rub it in as we were the first to visit with Ken a couple years ago. Right Ken?
SO THERE!

I've done it many times and always the same. Lol.
I think the winds only stop blowing from 2-3 am in the Great Plains. AND you'll only find cross winds and head winds. Tail winds don't exist. I found the same problems crossing Wyoming.

You will have earned your rest at MMDC. Enjoy!

Love the dogs, but was not too happy with Clyde about that time. Now I have to take antibiotics for 10 days. That means happy hour consists of a soda.

Ohmmms Jake! I know your pain. When I was 15 I was breaking up a fight between our male toy poodle and male chihuahua mix. We always just picked one of them up. This time I reached down and came back up with Buddy attached to my middle finger. I ended up slinging him 20' across the yard. It took 10 stitches and a huge bandage to put me back together. I walked around for weeks giving everyone the finger including when I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding.

I hope your pain ends soon. Ohmmmmm

Lucky you Jake. Last time they figured out I hadn't had a tetanus booster in a long time, they got me with a TDAP booster in my shoulder. That hurt for almost a week!

Thank you all for being my mutant family😘
Thank you for the beautiful poem Shara!

That's exactly what I got. You're right, they hurt.

On a brighter note, while it is still hot here in north central TN, it is cooling down into the 60's overnight. So not like stepping into a sauna when I first walk the dogs in the morning has to happen eventually. The trick is to get out of here before it cools too much. I know it is pleasant to our northern mutants, but I like it between 60* in the morning and no more than 80* in the afternoon. Wimpy ? Yes, but that's how I like it. I paid my dues growing up in NE. If I want to see white stuff, I'll take a SHORT day trip up Mt Lemon from Tucson.

I agree, WYOMING was one of the worst I have ever traveled through...

Happy Labor Day Mutants!!
While work is highly overrated, it got us to the outer rainbow!

The Kansas winds are blowing. Fortunately we only have 95 miles to go today. Still enjoying the morning cuppa... so good to be back rolling!
