Tornadoes missed us this afternoon. I saw the one a couple of miles north as it trundled off to the east. Another hit 6 miles south. A third was in the area as well. Property damage, including a motorhome totalled w/in 3 miles of us. Family had just driven here (IL) from Alaska, stopping to visit relatives on their way home to NC.

Our rig is sitting out on the drive. 😲 Martin pulled in the slides. After the horse has bolted and all that. 😞

Exactly where I would use it. Have you learned to just tip it up and tap it or do you use the grinder?

Wow Sue! Frightening to say the least I'm sure. The darn things are so fast you don't have much time to take cover or batten down the hatches. Glad y'all are okay. Tell Martin that the horse goes in front of the cart.

Alas dear Mutants, it seems I was late to the party as well,

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU SUE AND MARTIN !!!!!

I would also like to inform you that today is the PTjeeps 39th anniversary as well.

It sure seems strange to say it, but time just flies when you are having fun. Soon we begin to head west heading to SD, KS, CO, NM, and AZ

Cheers to you all !!!

Well let me be the first to congratulate!
In these days and times were things are tossed to the side seeing a long term commitment sadly is becoming so rare!

Congratulations, many more happy returns. Travel safe, and remember that it's still hot in the southwest.

Yup. Smart had nuthin on us!

The phone apps alerted us or we'd have been totally unaware. Run to the basement? Smart? Not me. I found an upstairs window and then the upstairs deck to find the first funnel. After that I was all over the hill watching it go. Never knew about the other 2 till the evening news.

Our neighbor/cousin was out sending pics to the local TV station, including the moho that was wrecked. Haven't heard yet if there was more than property damage. So far it's only roofs, vehicles, trees and crops. Devastating enough.
