Quick request for prayers, ohms, whatever...Elijah and Little William's daddy was arrested this afternoon for bank robbery. He is on a 24 hour hold. A federal agent will decide tomorrow if they have enough evidence to prosecute. This is not something consistent with his character...and we cannot speak with him to see if he is in his right mind. Sara, his wife, is hysterical. Too much. We are very confused and concerned. (Of the 4 boys...he is one of the 2 most like his daddy...strong morals, calm, capable...etc. not naughty like their mom...)

Oh Marty, it can't be true. Surely mistaken identity. Prayers for all of your family. Hopefully this will eventually turn out to be one of those family stories that everyone laughs about at the dinner table.

Zugibe Winery. The Finger Lakes are home to some first-class wineries. They're everywhere. You could spend a month up here and still not visit all of them.

The National Women's Rights Museum in Seneca Falls is worth seeing. It' tells the story of the movement to gain first-class citizenship for women in this country. It's hard to believe that such a relatively short time ago we couldn't own property, vote or get into colleges. What a difference Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Jane Hall, and so many others made. And we owe a debt of gratitude to their husbands, who were in support of their wives' work, along with other men who supported the movement, perhaps most notably Frederick Douglas. The museum is a fitting tribute to the women and men who worked tirelessly to help bring about equal rights for women.
