FYI if anyone has sent me any email in the last 4-5 days I haven't gotten it yet. All my email goes thru my SIL's server which is offline during their move. It should come back up by Monday. They promise to NEVER move again. They stayed 17 years in the last house so I believe them. Moving is truly hell on earth.

It almost sounds like someone is running their own private email server with all this valuable content on it!!! Oh the humanity of it all!!!

Paula and Jim were off to see mountains and trees today also. Great coloring on the trees, but rained all day. Still great.
We're headed south tomorrow. Jaunt thru Utah and Nevada into
California in the next few days.
Safe travels to all and ooms still coming your way.

Such a quiet day here. I guess Jim and Paula and Annie and I weren't the only ones out seeing stuff!

Some stuff we saw... but some on my camera and Annies phone.

Lunch in Chimayo. A visit to a sacred place. And a drive to Lake Abiquiú.

Ok are you ready for the next chapter of "What did Sena do today?"

There is a really good reason why women have children when they are young. It's called energy and suspicion. At 65 I find that being suspicious of Sena being quiet for too long takes more energy than I can muster some days.

Today was one of those days. I worked in the yard, touched up some interior paint and painted some planter boxes. By the time I got everything cleaned up and put away I was ready for a nap. So not wondering what Sena was doing wasn't high on my list.

Later as I was heading to Home Depot I figured out how she spent that quiet time. On the hood of the RV I found her holding a small plastic bag removing one of her insulin syringes. All over the hood and the concrete around it was 19 more syringes. Each syringe was separated into it's component parts and most had the needle broken off.

It seems my darling simian daughter managed to remove 2 bags of syringes from the drawer that is secured with a magnetic child lock. <heavy sigh> So what's the score now? Sena 1,853 to my 3?

Papa Steve,
A dear friend of ours was given a few months to live a while back but she was supposed to undergo three months of chemo. Being a very religious person she decided to forgo chemo and put her life in the hands of her God.She is doing extremely well, her cancer is in remission and the doctors are totally baffled by what is going on. Hopefully your sister will have a similar occurrence.

Ohhms from the two of us and will continue for the interim.

My DIL has not been handling this well, and so today when I went over after 2. We talked a bit, I told her what I was trying to get lined up... basically, getting their ducks all in a row so when my son, who pleads guilty, does his time, she will be all organized as to house payments, child care, mental health issues, etc. I was very concerned about her yesterday as she seemed very close to disappearing down the rabbit hole prior to and during the hearing. So, knowing what is probably coming, I suggested we call her doctor and see if we could get her on some sort of anti Anxiety medicine she can take while nursing that won't affect the baby. We called to see if she could get in, but couldn't get there by the time they would close up shop, and her doctor suggested we take her to the emergency room. She agreed, so 4 hours later, we emerged with a prescription in hand and and went to go fill it so maybe she can sleep tonight. ( and another prescription on hand if this doesn't work for her...)and a list of 3 female and 1 male psychologists covered by her insurance, to see if she can get an appointment next week and get started on dealing with the fallout and prepping for the 'what probably is to come' part of this journey. Now to talk to the Parole officer about my son and see that he gets his mental needs taken care of.....I may be camping out at their place... literally... I suggested that between the 4 of us grandparents we could rotate and get them 2 nights a week of all night sleep while the grandparents do baby duty. They were both receptive to this idea so now it's getting the other 2 grandparents on board or 2 other volunteers. I really think sleep deprivation had a lot to do with this whole thing. I feel bad I didn't pick up that son wasn't doing well. DIL was immersed in baby William and his things and didn't notice either. Onward and upward... after I crash for a few hours...gotta remember to take care of me too.

Steve, the right eye is doing much better than the left eye. Looks like Texas is in our future if the MH gets in and out of the shop in good order (roof sealing).

Looks like you and Annie are once again enjoying the rainbow. Woot Woot.

Thanx Dennis for the words of encouragement concerning my sister. It's a tough situation for sure. Her future quality of life is not looking good right now. Looks like more of the completely bedridden routine while being fed through a tube. Geesh.
