Hey there mutants! It's sure been quiet around here lately. Where are you hiding???

Another 2 days here in Santa Fe. Then on to Gallup. Just having fun with friends and such in the NM sun.

Tim and his wife Lydia are coming up from Abq this evening and the tree couples - Al and Maria and Annie and I are going to dinner. I'm getting my Hatch chile and NM fix satisfied. I have yet to get the red with the heat I'm looking for but I've have some good stuff!!

Last year we got the Hatch Chilies from Old Town, Las Cruces and this year we had the roasted while we waited in Colorado Springs. We got the "medium" but they threw in a few reds - Ummmmm!

This really sucks too

I don't understand today's health care system. My sister is on Medicare and Medicaide. When I left her yesterday at the hospital, there was no evidence that she was going to be released. Her son called this morning around 10:00 a.m. and told me that his mom was released and sent back to her nursing home at MIDNIGHT last night. I guess when your diagnosis and prognosis reach a certain time limit, you're no longer entitled to hospital care. Geesh

Now the real zinger. He told me that my sister has reverted back to her previous position. She told them to remove the feeding tube and she wants to go out to eat dinner one last time. So her son and the nursing home have activated the hospice care protocol.

As I stated before, I pray that she's of sound mind and she's aware of the consequences of her actions. I support her decision having been witness to several years of languishing in a bed. I hope that she doesn't suffer.

Thanx muteys for your ohms, prayers, and good thoughts.

Steve,

Your right, our medical system can make some really strange decisions. It all comes down to money, and unless you have more than anybody else, you're at their mercy.

Give her your love, provide guidance if you can, and respect her wishes if she is of sound mind. Above all, remember your mutant family stands behind you with support and love.

Ohhmmmss

I really don't understand how our medical program is in such a horrible state and yet our elected officials still are in office.

Our hearts, love and prayers are with you and your family Steve. OOOMMMSSS............

R U an RV Mutant too?

I'm thinking we are not going into a "hot button" topic, eh?
Papaw, we try to understand what we can. And we send our loving and caring RVM spirit to you and your fine family.
Marty, we applaud your strength of character.
