Pawpaw Steve, so sorry you are in this place of sadness, but sounds like she did it (living and dying)her way. May she rest.

On another note...Bob used to own, drive a falcon when we first dated!

Oh Colleen, Frieda is gorgeous! And one of my favorite colors. What year, make and model is she? When is her time to go up on the block? We'll all be sending bid HIGH vibes her way.

She is a 1961 Ford Falcon, and she runs like a top. Don took me for a ride before I helped him put her up on the trailer.

Cheers !!!

In 1974-75 time frame I had a 1962 Ford Falcon. The paint was starting to get bad so I used a drill and sanding pad, sanded it down and use store bought spray paint, red, and painted it. Not much of a looker after that but it also ran like a top. Just used it to go about 15 miles back and forth to work.

Here's my beauty...lol. done, but drying and getting blocked next...but the 'stretched out on the towel' look shows it off better.

I don't know, I think Mr. Malone should cut back just a tad on the drinking, he looks a little thin in that pic...

Found it on the B-J web site. It is lot 621 on Saturday. Great photos with the Dutch Star in the background of some. The details of the restoration make interesting reading. Best of luck in the bidding!

Well it's still plenty hot here in Phoenix so you know what that means. One of the ACs has decided it doesn't want to blow air. The compressor seems to hum but the fan doesn't kick in. Hopefully someone will get on it tomorrow. The front unit acted this way last year and it was the fan. Hopefully it's not the kind of unit Sky Boss has.

Thanks Jeff. I did call Don for a referral. He doesn't come this far west and hasn't come down from Show Low yet. Although he was actually in town today.

We have full shade on patio from about 10 on so it's nice outside. But it was a warm one today. I saw 97 at one point while crushing 101.
