I think the trees are trying to get me!

As previously reported, the trees in my yard can be treacherous! They have been known to jump out and into the side of my RV. They drop limbs on my truck and annoy the heck out of me with their shedding of leaves. Now they are on an out right attack.

Sweet and innocent me became a target as these trees began pelting me with marble size and above acorns! Direct hits sent me a running as they had pretty good aim. Working in cahoots with the wind, created flashbacks of the hail of a GC. I'm currently held hostage in the S&B, at least till breakfast is finished. Mary ventured outside to my truck to retrieve some items and reported the yard was like walking on marbles. She reported that "Somebody " needs to clean those up. Sure hope this Somebody person gets here soon cause I'm almost finished with breakfast!

Maybe a herd (?) of squirrels will get them before Somebody finishes his breakfast. Or pigs, maybe. I've heard pigs will eat acorns. But then Somebody will have to shovel up pig manure. Hmmm This dilemma may need pondering.

And I thought planning the August 2017 RVMoon GC was looking far ahead. You are really pushing us with that question, Bob. I'm sure we'll have lots of fun in 2018. Maybe you should retire early and join us in Oregon Aug 17-23. And then we can chat about you planning the first 2018 GC

For those fans of Ice Road Truckers, I know your familiar with the sound those big rigs make as they crack the ice when driving across the frozen streams. That's how it sounds driving up my drive way!

Thought I had grandson convinced that picking up a few bucketsfull and taking to deer stand would be a good thing. That was Saturday when he was here and his daddy and I was helping youngest son roof a barn. Last nite his daddy told me he had picked up a gallon zip lock bag full and placed in their car. When ask what those were far he replyed he was going to feed the deer in their yard. They live in town, not much chance of any deer there, but he's got high hopes!

Great idea Ed! BamaBob it dosnt take much more than a suggestion and a park with full hookups and the mutants will come rolling in. Plus they'll entertain themselves too plus eat great hordes of food! Don't be shy and think you're not up to planning something cause these GC oftentimes just happen. Plus they're a great way to meet mutants and make great friendships and in some cases know those to avoid! Mr Round has been on opposite sides of the country from me now 2 or 3 years and that has made for a lasting friendship!

All kidding aside, make some suggestions, it's your retirement. We can celebrate with you!

Perchance your nephew lives in the Victoria BC suburb of Oak Bay?

New poll shows majority in favour of deer cull in Oak Bay | CTV Vancouver Island News

BTW I am for a cull, my wife Denise and her girlfriend Leslie were threatened by a big buck while they were out walking the dogs.

BTW Tim if the cull happens I'll call you and let you know as it probably the only place where they will pay you to hunt and kill deer. Mary and Denise can shop in downtown Victoria and I'll film you stalking the deer. Win win all the way round.
