We don't use lights here at Sisters house. There is a stone wall and all of the pack rats love the neighbors fruits trees on the other side.
One started a nest in the Jeep when we were at Lost Dutchman, chewed some of rubber insulation under the hood! It stored chunks of prickly pear around the battery. We were only there for 4 nites!
Have they actually nested in your C?

No, but I have had chipmunks and mice get in -- YUCK! I have some lights but as extra insurance I'm going to do the mothballs in perforated plastic bottles for the Moho and Smarty. BTW you can buy mothballs at Lowe's in the closet shelving dept.

Yup...he got road ready and started home while I was still asleep. Just woke up when he stopped for gas. New item to add to our flight checkoff list...he has to ask if he can't see me.. "are you in the bathroom Hun?"

Well, I believe the failure on my fridge is quite obvious - an incredibly strong smell of ammonia from the back area where the access vent on the outside is. As I'm in the process of disassembling and getting ready to tear it out, every time I go back there and open the panel the odor hits me. I'm leaving it open for now, let it air out, whew!
Purchased a new one yesterday, it'll be delivered sometime tomorrow. Spent too much but the good news is it's so close to the dimensions of the Norcold I may only have to adjust the platform for height and that's all!
Next challenge is will they both fit in through the door, bypassing the need to take the huge window on the side out. I just measured a good 25" of access if I take off the screen door and I think that's all I'll need for both the Norcold w/o doors and the new one w/o doors!

Carl what kind did you buy? We maybe heading in that direction too if the new board doesn't fix ours.

The worse part is missing Happy Hour, but then missing Happy Hour means I'm with Mutants. (Happy Hour at my age is a nap.)

I like Merriam Webster dictionary results:
"Simple Definition of knack
- : an ability, talent, or special skill needed to do something"
"Full Definition of knack
- 1 a : a clever trick or stratagem b : a clever way of doing something
- 2 : a special ready capacity that is hard to analyze or teach
- 3 archaic : an ingenious device; broadly"
That's Dwayne!

Yesterday was sad when Marty and Bob left, today is sad because Chuck & Sara and Coleen and Hunter leave. Tomorrow will be sad because the other great people will leave. We are hanging in here until Tuesday so the tears will dry.
Coleen, what a magnificent job you did in arranging the gathering and what a fine gathering it has been. Thank you very much.
A great group of misfits.

Carl before going to the hassle of removing the doors try just opening them and have the doors go thru first, then the rest of the fridge. That is a bit awkward but it often works. Can you just remove a stop or opener from the top of the Moho door so it will swing back parallel to the coach? I've done this before to get new frig in a S&B.

It's a Fisher & Paykel, model RF170ADUSX4. Expensive but the size will save me on labor costs!!! I believe it's just a couple inches taller and slightly narrower. Once the Norcold is out and more measurements can be taken on the cavity for the fridge itself, I'll know whether any mods are required or not.

Too late! Doors are off the old one. We'll be able to more exactly measure things once the new one is delivered and go from there, but it's likely we'll take to doors off the new one as well. Don't want to scratch it and it'll be lighter without them

Forgot to mention, while up on the roof taking the roof vent apart so my fans can be taken out, etc., that smell of ammonia was really something. It's breezy today which is good but every once in a while the wind would shoot up the stack and I'd get another good whiff of it - whew!
