Carl! You should really think about moving to a neighborhood with a different class of residents! Can't bears crash thru doors and invite themselves in for a snack -- namely YOU!

It is now! Temp shot right down to 36 from 65 in just an hour or so.

I don't understand it around here. CT is quite populated in my area, the hospital is right across the street with students attending daily, yet all they ever do is pick these guys up, carry them to a state forest, make sure they're tagged and set them free. These guys find their way back to populated areas right quick to go eat. There was a local story last year about what the state was doing with the ones killed by autos and come to find out they were just piling them up at some state owned land. Not even burying them! Unreal - it was a big pile, but matches the type of politicians elected around here.

No clue why double tags, perhaps so if they lose one, the other one is still there? Or my more cynical side says if one can double the cost doing government work, why not? I know listening to the police scanner, you hear folks freaking out and calling the cops whenever one shows up in their yards. It's like deer here in CT - there are so many you can bow and arrow them year round on Sundays or something like that.
Nice job on the new fridge, Carl!

As to the bears -- if they can get a free easy meal out of garbage cans, why settle for grubs and berries? I hope they don't wait until someone gets hurt before putting together a plan to keep them out of neighborhoods.

Vegas has been a great place and we will be here until next Wednesday morning. We then head on down to PHX for a week and spend some time in the same park where Jeff & Marcia are.

We then head down to Tucson for 8 days at the Rincon Country West. Looks to be a nice time there.

Finally we head to Yuma for 4 months at Palms RV Resort.

Thanks to Jeff, Steve & Sue for your input on some of the places we were looking at.

Yep! It is a nice mix of small town and everything we need in the way of resources. Y'all should come on down. I keep hoping the tides will change.

Back home again in Indiana. MH has been safely stored in Perry, GA. Had to get a new toilet while we were there. Great outfit George Morris RV installed the one we picked out at Camping World. Their hourly is about $35.00 per hour less than our local dealer ($85.00). They will probably install our new convection/microwave oven when we pick our MH up in late December. Long story short - - - about a year old unit and it died. Dometic stood behind it and replacing it free. However, the one we have is a rare discontinued model and they were able to find one at a 3rd party vendor that bought out many of the remaining discontinued models. Dometic was unable to get it to us before we had to head for TX, so we will haul it in our car when we go pick up the MH in late December. Should be ezzy pezzy. Famous last words...........
