Me being English, it would be a rubbish bin and a fizzy drink!

Open Roaders - you have wandered onto the Rainbow thread of the RV Mutants. We appreciate your post and extend the offer to join us as a full fledged RVM. While anyone can post anywhere on iRV2 - we RVMs are a group of open minded, creative, free spirits. Some are vacationers - some are full time but all are mutants.

What joins us together is admitting that our rigs - whatever they may be - don't have some things and we don't miss them. We also make the journey our destination. If you'd like to join the curiosity of RVMs - tell us what your RV doesn't have and you don't miss. And proclaim the journey is your destination.

If it all seems a little strange then perhaps go back to the first few posts in the thread and read how it all got started. You may find yourself laughing and wanting to join in the fun. You may not. Either way - thanks for the post and clarification on fizzy and rubbish.

You may claim your RVM number with your next post. That would be... RVM59

Thanks Barb! Why can't we be so original? I will have to ponder this..

Old folks thread. Hmmm. They have some interesting foibles.

I used to be addicted to the Hokie Pokie, but I turned myself around. (ba-dum-dum)

Good morning Mutants! I just gotta say ain't nuthin' beats my cup of coffee in the morning! The names for that drink have to be more numerous than the names for soda. But what ever you call it, it does start my day off.

You are sure showing your age. You had to dig deep into what memory you have left to remember that one.

Yes, they would be escapees. There are flocks of escaped birds established in many places in the U.S. One such flock is featured in the documentary Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I have heard that there are many escaped birds in Florida. I've been there a number of times, but have never seen a wild flock.

We have eight parrots, and they all talk. Most of them are rescues. Parrots are very quick to pick up language, and some of ours came with phrases and words that would embarrass a sailor!

We love them, though, and we're always entertained!

We had wild flocks of parrots in Seminole Florida. Very loud and always had their favorite tree to roost in each night.
