Been a crazy holiday season. DW had to spend Xmas with MIL, so off to TN we went. 2000 miles to get there, took the long way, blowout 5 miles from destination. Truck needed new tires anyway. Had a great time seeing all the relatives, however. MIL has no TV, no internet, and the spare bed only fits one. After 10 days on the couch, headed for home. Took the even longer way, so took 6 days to get back to Tucson. So, after 21 days, I finally got to get back into short pants and t-shirts. Arriving in Tucson yesterday afternoon was the highest temps in 21 days. Gawd, I love it here.

Anyway, belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you mutants out there.

Jake

Over the sink light fixture

I don't feel good about my recent purchase. We went to The Home Depot and bought a light fixture for over the sink. It's purely a 110 fixture, but I thought if it worked when plugged into pedestal power we could get along without it when boondocking.

Now I question whether or not it will even "power up" on the MH's electrical system (converter and all that nonsense that I know nothing about). We do not have an inverter. Please advise if I should purchase a fixture that designed for MH only.

Are you sure the wiring where it would be connected is 110v AC? Or are you just plugging it into a regular 110v AC outlet. If it's just getting plugged into an AC outlet, I would suspect it'd be fine. Otherwise, all bets are off. I have an electrical meter here if you need to borrow it.

And you know I'm all about silliness, but I'll have to take a knee on this one. Of course I may need help up!

Tim, it was the most serious of silliness, by gar! Twas an oath of pure RVMness. We even sacrificed a slice of pizza!
It came straight from the RVM ancient scrolls, and I translated them from the hieroglyphics right there.
And we did not even get throwed out of Silly Al's into PUBLIC!
Well, they were all in gloomy face, I guess

BTW, these folk ain't in on the Pima GC, but they have heavy lean toward RV M00Ning!!!!!! Woot

How quickly we, uh you, forget. We all took the oath to be faithful to the Mutant way at GC@CL1. It begins "I, your name, solemnly swear..."
