We don't know how things will proceed but flights to Bloomington Normal are in our near future.
I'm so glad we jumped full time when we did. It gave us a couple trips to visit them these past 2 years that beat any "vacation or holiday visits" we would have otherwise had from DFW.
Cheers to Tom Krause. God speed dad.

If they still have the weekend shoot-outs, be sure to attend.

Not sure, the rig is in the shop for front end vibration issues we have been chasing for 8 months. I told them to keep it until it runs smooth. I may have goofed with that statement, but that's where it stands.
Be happy to come out for a day trip is it's still in the shop.

And it might be wise not to comment about it here. The group email list is available if you want to discuss this.

I know you want this responded on the group email list, but that leaves out lots of folks that read this thread.
The reference comes from another thread on this site. It's full of Innuendo's, and fear mongering, something we don't do on the mutant thread.
We've sent into and through California many times, and our total time combined staying here is almost 3 months. This is a beautiful state with many amazing sights and experiences. The biggest downside is cost of living being higher here.
If you want the FACTS, try the actual state sight concerning this.

Just posting this to ease the concerns of anyone thinking of visiting California.
We are just wrapping up a month in San Diego, and had such a great time exploring here. We are next off to the Palm Springs area for a month, and the hopefully we will make it back to Tucson for the GC!

Thanks Dave! I knew there was a sane and more knowledgeable voice amongst us. I only posted it on this thread because I knew we head some Mutants traveling thru CA on there way to the Oregon GC in August. Hope we see you and Deb in Tucson!

Steve & Annie,
Sandee and I are sad to hear of Tom's passing. We got a chance to meet Annie's parents and thought they were great people.
Our best wishes for both of you and Tom's wife Carol during these times.

Thanks Don. In going through pics I came across the ones you sent me from your visit with mom and dad. Between your visit and our example, they learned more about life on the rainbow than they ever imagined. Took it in stride. Thanks again for visiting with them. Maybe one day we'll meet at Tobins.
