I caught the moon today w/ my handy-dandy saguaro reacher-grabber.

This lovely specimen is full of bird nest cavities, some of them boarded up. Too funny!
Do you suppose a human closed those nest holes, or is that birdies at work? It looks like concrete from here.

Here we are at the FMCA's 95th International convention at the completely fake Wild West Rawhide Town (and convention center) at Chandler AZ.

Situated in a dusty gravel parking lot (With 30A power) amongst over 2,200 other coaches - yes, two thousand two hundred - we are within an easy 800 yard walk from the main event area. There is a regular limo, golf cart tram service though. We are on the green route.

The main display area has filled up with shiny new coaches and vendors will start vending mid day tomorrow. There are more seminars than you can shake a stick at but, unlike previous rallies we've been to, there is no catering. Well, how would you expect the FMCA to feed 5,000?

A neighbour 4 rigs down the road decided this afternoon to entertain his friends to a demo. of his radio controlled model dragster, complete with a very noisey gas engine. He took great delight in setting it up at the front of our rig and letting it go spewing dust and noise everywhere. At just below the point of going berserk, I let him know that I was not amused and he should desist immediately. He did eventually stop.

I reported him to the Security crew here and told them if it happened again, I would kick the damn thing over and tear off its antenna. They said they would tell their boss but I should calm down.

So much for day 1 of the rally.

Way to go, Martin! Give 'em hel ... uh, a healthy nose of U.K. Charm. Besides, you are an RV Mutant and we don't take loo contributions from anyone.

Between your comment about 2,200 RVs and a check of the weather forecast has me deciding to skip Chandler and head north to Cottonwood when we leave Tucson later this week. Thanks!

And now for something completely different...

Was at the grocery tonight poking around the Easter candy when I saw a different looking package of Hershey Kisses. New Flavor - Carrot Cake! And I thought Swedish Fish* flavored Oreos were weird...

*Swedish Fish candy doesn't really taste like fish, just fish shaped. Actual fish flavored Oreos would be really weird...

Btw, how'd y'all fare the storms? It looks like the worst of it was north and south of us here in Memphis.

Wow! All this time I though you were a gentle round person. Remind me not to "tick" you off.

Tim, if it's the kind where you can't keep anything down... Try the syrup from peaches canned in heavy syrup... 1 teaspoon every 20 minutes or so for tan hour until you know you can keep it down, then increase the amount and time in between gradually.... works wonders on soothing a tummy that doesn't want to keep anything down.
