In the interest of full disclosure, let me make it clear that the list of Mooning reservations shows "Thomas Guy" at the bottom of the list. That is actually how the reservation as made on my credit card.

The full disclosure information should show "Tom & Jan, RVM28". That's who we are, and don't you forget it.

Looking forward to it. Got our eclipse shades and some shades for the video camera. We hope to get a recording of it all. Chances are at least some of the RVM inhabitants will be in the recording as well.

Just as an update, we got new skins for the MH this week; a full set of Hercules 275R/70 22.5 big black round things. Should be good to go.

We have been doing some minor upgrades, like a new radio/CD/GPS thing. Also a new rearview camera and 9" monitor. That not installed yet, but maybe we'll get lucky and get it to work.

We also (mostly Jan) scraped and removed the infernal Diamond Shield from the nose of the big baby. Much improved.

Other than that we're just lollygagging around waiting for spring to reach the rest of the world. (It's already spring here, but we don't want to get out there yet).

That's all I know. So sue me; everybody else is.

Travel well.

Tom (and Jan, of course)

Hey Tom and Jan! Good to hear from you! I'm excited to know you'll be in Oregon this August. This should be as epic as the first GC, which is the last time we saw y'all.

I'm with you about waiting on weather up north to get properly mutatable. I can't handle the Seattle rains that persist until June. Sena won't go outside to play in the rain which means I don't get a break from her constant demands.

Oh and Jan, I could use some tips about scraping unwanted stuff off the Moho walls. Sena cause a large paint spill on the garage roof right next to where we were parked. By the time I finished power washing the roof the gray latex paint had dried in droplets on one side of the rig.

Oh! Another thing. We sitting near the intersection of I 10 and US 231. Our goal tomorrow is to reach Goodlettesville, TN (northern suburb of Nashville).
I thought you were onto something with MOAA, but alas, it is already taken.

Yep! Talking about Mr. Nothing usually revolves around nothing.

By the way, was that last deer stand you built come from scrap wood?

From what I saw he needs a sky hook to keep the wind from blowing it over. I will admit that even lying sideways on the ground it was still in one piece. I guess he should get credit for it not being just a pile of lumber.

Why yes it was, all salvaged lumber except for a few treated boards to finish out the steps and handrails.

Barb I was just talking about you yesterday, telling some friends of your travels and how you post your adventures. We were discussing how they are doing away with cursive writing in school and next will be creative writing. The funniest thing was we were well into our discussion before I thought to add, oh, she travels with a monkey and dog too! Of course that lead to various stories you've shared where you played "the monkey card".
It's good to know that some folks don't think of me only in terms of being Sena's slave. That's what today has been except for a few hours. A big storm came thru here (Lake Powell, just north of Page, AZ) last night and today has been mostly cloudy and too cool for her majesty to play outside. So she has driven me crazy instead.

BTW, most of the tumble weeds blown by the wind last night ended up in the lake and dissolved or sunk. There is just a little bit of rubble along the edge of the water. When I moved us over to a more permanent spot by the lake and unhooked Smarty there was one that had gotten up into the wheel well. I was surprised because the wind was blowing them to the left and right, but not under the Moho.

Me thinks you need to get an engineer to help you work on the foundation and bracing at that level. You do know that you should build from the bottom up, not the top down. Might hold up better that way.

You must remember, the one that fell had help from a tornado! Many engineered homes don't stand up to those!

What I really need is someone to help with a weight distribution test! The test consist of having someone with lots of mass dance around in the stand while I check the legs on the stand and down riggers for movement. Wearing a toto is optional.

I think I know someone that fits that description.
