I'm suffocating, & it's nothing to do with heat! Get me outa here!

We leave in the morning, heading for I-40 and points east. Let there be mountains again, and colored rocks, and all the things that make the West wonderful!

Martin washed the windscreen & front cap yesterday. Let the vistas roll on!

Pulled in this afternoon at Oak Glen RV Park, a little east of Chandler OK along old RT 66. Nice small park, lots of trees, not much traffic. Going to stay for 2 nights then on to Carthage MO as we continue our trek back to Indiana.

Really need to wash the Mustang - it's color is changing from black to tan... last year in FL there was so much pollen falling from the ' trees' the poor car was almost yellow...

I have decided if I ever try to start a travel blog I will call it "Through a Dirty Windshield"...

Well dang.. so we missed you... drat.

We head to Casa Grand for a week - to pick up our stuff - and take some time to organize thongs a little better.

Since the doc appts are 6/5 and 6/6 - well head to the Prescott Fairgrounds for 3 weeks and Point of Rocks for a week. On the 8th of June well'll finally be moving on... we will more than likely get somewhere for 2 weeks and fly to Normal to see Annies mom. Then on to Oregon.

Can't wait to get back on the road.

Boy I'm glad to hear you're getting yer thongs organized! 'Bout time! 🤣

We knew the timing wasn't going to be ideal, but at least we got in one good meal, & you're on track to get back home again. Yay, Bonita!

Truth! Purgatory for me, for sure, but then I have never been a city person. I knew it would be like this before we got here, & was braced for a few days.

Cheers on Bonita & I hope your shifting thongs around goes smoothly. 😉
