Nothing fancy here tonight. It's cold and rainy and breakfast for dinner just sounded good to us.

To turn my picture into your picture will take a sharp knife and some time.

Barb, pretty good hog, but it's setting in the bed of a Polaris Ranger. Still lots of ham, ribs and BACON!

I have a bit of the Bambi Complex, but I also grew up eating rabbit, squirrel, and the occasional pheasant. (Not "under glass", mind you...we were pharm pholks.) Maybe it's more of a First Nations sensibility: respect and honor the animal you kill to eat.

Cheers!

Hey Sue !!

I can honestly say, that when you spend time out in the cold, and finally get that shot that brings down what you are hunting, and then you take the time to dress it out properly, and then you butcher it in order to bring it to the grill and then to the table, you do respect and honor and are grateful for the bounty to which you were entrusted with, when it was presented to you in the first place.

Cheers !!!

I had no idea breakfast for dinner was so popular. On the other hand, i think I may gotten a similar response if I said we were having bacon and cardboard sandwiches for dinner.

Hey Mutants !!!

I think that I should even expand this idea of a BBQ Sauce Challenge, to include anyone from anywhere that makes their own special sauce ..... and those of us that dont can provide an unbiased palate of which to judge the sumptuous creations of those that did, I think this is a good idea.

Cheers !!!

Stop already, all y'all! I'm salivating all over this keyboard...messy! There's sauce in my fridge along with a poor ole piece of chicken leg and I may have to make do with that.

Bring on the competition. I'll volunteer to judge!

Cheers!

How about Canasta. I haven't played that since i was a you child. We used to live for Pinochle and would play it until 1 or 2 in the a.m. with friends.

Hearts, cribbage, were also games we played, and with Dominoes.

And don't forget the just plain old poker.
