I have wrappers and vermicelli and keep looking for shrimp... lots of Oregon bay shrimp. But not what I call shrimp and they call "prawns" but rarely have. We will go back to Newport to look. We did locate Barnacile Bills Seafood stand here in Lincoln City. We drove the streets and beaches here this afternoon. Just a leisurely drive. Located a Shell Station with No 2 and access, which can be a challenge all over Oregon.
Seems to run from 2.39 to 2.79 and they pump it.

Our coastal trip will end Saturday as we head to Silverton. The day trips will be Hood River and ??? Then back to Idanah.

Looking over the hedge from chair.

We had fish and chips down on the harbor at Fort Bragg. Was going to be a late lunch but turned out to be my supper too! We set at a dinning bar overlooking the charter boats as they came in and unloaded. We both loved the atmosphere up till they started cleaning fish about 10 feet from us! Oh the life of a fisherman!

Steve, when you were in Oregon at Idanha, what was the air quality? I keep looking at the smoke reports and wondering about how bad it is... do I need to bring my inhaler? the route we hope to take leads through Washington from Northeast to southwest and looks like t goes through some of the heaviest of the smoke areas, and it appears the area Idanha is centered in an area where the wind has a hard time blowing the smoke away, and will it (e?)affect the eclipse viewing is my other worry...

Morning Richard, or should I say mid-day! Hopefully Q Ann continues to improve, I hear y'all are getting a break from the heat. We pull out today for a grueling 93 mile move. I feel like Steve, oh the humanity!

Marty, what website are you using to get smoke reports? Bring inhaler -- you never know.

Marty... we have not seen or smelled smoke anywhere so far. We will be moving inland tomorrow, about an hour or so west of Idanah. Will report in after our day trip to Hood River.

Bring it in case... campfires!

Thanks Steve... We are about to resume rainbow riding, alas Oregon will escape us this time... Trying short trips first..

However, we will attend the Un-Official extended RV Mooning - C closer to home.

We will be thinking of all of you & hope everyone enjoys a spectacular historic show...
