Well under 3 hours down, over 7 hours back - witness the total trip meter.

Bumper to bumper speeds ranged between 2 to 20 mph with many stops for the whole 165 miles. Fortunately, the car has auto-cruise so I let it drive itself most of the way with just a tap on a switch to set it off from a full stop.

One of Sue's friends told her that she had flown down to Carbondale and back, including a chopper ride to a stadium. How the other half live!
Well you made much better time than us:

Of course we spent night there at Sandusky COE park. Roads clear after that.

Then we enjoyed the journey for about 28 hours ( including a sleepover at an Arkansas State Park ).. Mileage was just over 400 miles...

Very glad we were able to visit & I notice your Jaguar on your avatar picture. & your memories & pictures you shared was very interesting that took you all the way to New Zealand! What a fantastic story.

See you soon.

Queen Ann and her humble servant Richard

Shara is in our thoughts and prayers. She was prayed for by name during our church service on Sunday. Mutants in Oregon know of the need for ohms.

She is out of surgery now waiting 2 hours to make sure her lung doesn't collapse. So far so good.

I was thinking that with the time difference she would have been past the surgery by now, prayers for the results to be favorable!
