Don, did you and Sandee get married because you were the only 2 who could retire in the same week? Two days apart. That can't be entirely coincidence.

Barb - perhaps you haven't been properly introduced to Don. Barb, meet Don. Don, Barb.

There is no coincidence in Dons life. He has known since grade school, that his wife would retire in +/- 2 days from his retirement. and so much more. A spreadsheet for keeping up with spreadsheets even.

Hmm, that sounds a bit like someone else on this thread, too.

Oh Dennis. So Sorry. Didn't know that the expelling of the gasses would permeate the air up that-a-way. I have a solution. Stop breathing. Nah, never mind, just take sort breaths, inhale through the mouth so you get the full taste and not just the smell.

Don, Don, Don! Retirement is wonderful, but when you are in the MH together think 24/7, 24/7, 24/7.

Dreaming of being on the rainbow is easy. Transitioning to actually living on it will take some time to wrap my mind around. To be honest, I'm a tad numb. In the words of Steve...it is a big damn deal. I ranks up with HS graduation, Military induction, Military separation and at least 1 of my 2 weddings. LOL (LOVE YOU SANDEE!)

Sandee works until noon on Wednesday and my knee MRI is 9 am on Friday. between now and then we have a few house keeping chores but we have had our "final" good byes with the family. Our first leg of the journey will be a bit of a hustle because we want to get to Macon, GA by Saturday for a surprise Sunday party for my twin grand kids. After that...we will practice sliding onto the rainbow at a more leisurely pace. Our only time table is to be in Alamo TX by December 20th. Between Friday and then we do want to visit the land of RVM2 (Plano, TX) and any mutants in that area.

Taking a deep breath and absorbing the moment. AHHH. Feels good.
Hey...congrstz! Did you work at the FAA center in Olathe?

AF Air Traffic Controllers take the same FAA tests - and have the same profile. He and I have much in common. Inky difference - he did it longer. But yeah, ya see right through us don't ya? Ha!

I have no idea of what if any thrills there are with toking. I am allergic to Marijuana smoke and break out in a huge rash if I touch the plant and the smoke makes me vomit. That said I actually remember the 60's.

Martin is still thinking about that new Jeep Cherokee Limited...and he's hardheaded. I'm not ready to get rid of the Chevy Traverse and the Wrangler Sahara (both '09s with low mileage) just yet, but he's thinking trade 'em both for that Cherokee. AAAAAAAAAAckKKKK! When he starts researching, and watching videos, and reading reviews, I know which way the wind is blowing. He's the car guy here, so sooner or later this is likely to happen.

I really like the Traverse. <pouting> Somebody! Talk him out of this, pleeeease!

Yeah, I hear all you Jeepsters...you'd talk him into it instead, wouldn't you?!

Ah well. Cheers and g'night!
Sue

Dang, that sure put a crimp in your social life back then, huh?Do you list that on your medical records -- just in case they want to prescribe medical marijuana?

You may need to be careful coming over the border, soon. If Washington State ever figures out how they are going to sell it, now that it's legal here, there may be a pot shop on every corner and half of it's citizens may be toking up regularly.

I better do that but wiyh our conservative government closing down all the medicinal marijuana growers and going the other way with that kind of statute law I may be OK.
