I think you meant "Unite"

Unless you were referring to untying tie-dyed T-shirts! LOL

Neat idea RVM9.

Hats

The possibilities are endless!

Unfortunately, as much as I like the idea of being happy with "status quo" and being "zen-like", I just picked up our new to us coach a week ago and many things need updating. Need new TV's and such but stop at adding them to the outside. We like watching a movie before bed. Outside is for enjoying surroundings, although we picked up a set of Satellite speakers with Blu tooth for listening to iPod when having some relaxing wobbly-pops. Once a few mods completed, Zen state will be achieved.

RVM12 - Les - no single book or philosophy can adequately capture the spirit of the RV Mutant! I have been making many upgrades and improvements myself. So how does this square with don't miss what I don't have aspect of being an RVM? Drawing from that motorcycle zen book again - which will eventually fade from our Mutant thread, there is this.

“The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed.”

Some of us are "right" with no TV - some with very big ones. Others can only pass the test with HD. What's important is that your rig is a source of pleasure to you. Even in the repair and replace mode, happiness in the doing and then enjoying the results are the journey!

Any other ideas on what makes a RVM? Are you an RVM too? If so, take RVM14 and join in the discussion.

Then I was already there 17 years ago when I rented my first Class A and drove the big windshield down the road. I was hooked. I try to find excuses to even take mine for a drive. Need a part, need the coach to match it. My wife still calls BS to that one LOL. My Zen is in the driving and not so much the destination. I like everything from the looking for the next coach, negotiating, to fixing and updating.

My wife actually calls me an "RV Nazi".

I truly am a RV Mutant I guess.

How can I miss something if I have never had it?

I do have a confession. I miss all my friends who live in my computer.

Or as the song says - how can I miss you if you won't go away. Lol. Wayne - you may not know it yet, but you are an RVM. Have you poked air holes in your computer so your friends and breath?

Funny thing about this, I really don't care to camp, or I'm not a camper. I just want to travel, ear trucker food sometimes, I love truck stops. I just want to travel, no campfires for me. I want to golf, read, go to movies, I just want to do it in different locations.

Being totally free and self sufficient is zen for me!

Freedom is at the heart of our adventure too. I'm with ya there and I'm with RVM1 on being where the cold and heat aren't. 1 more winter for us and then..... right turn at the rainbow!

RVM10 here. I like the Zen thing but I'm really into "Gestalt Banjo-Vol. 1" There is no Vol. 2. Paul Hawthorne died before he could write it. Vol. 1 has on its front the picture by Leonardo da Vinci of God's hand passing life to Adam's hand. God has on banjo picks.

Well, RVM2, almost 90 here in Hot Springs! But, 50's are on the way (yay!). Every road has a bump.

Today, nothing, nothing at all! We decided that "nothing" was a very good thing. As in not leaving camp. That is freedom too, right?

Where's the YouTube link? Banjo and flat-picking go together like a RVs and good times. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (Dirt Band) will be playing Dallas in a couple weeks. John Hartford was another favorite - so many great banjo players - Jerry Garcia even. Gestalt - Zen - bluegrass. I think they misspelled banjo. S/b BanJoY.

RVM1 is sitting on the rainbow. What isn't freedom there? Try to answer that with one hand clapping. The RV Mutant does not envy his mutant brother, but it isn't easy.
