You can actually load directly to the iPad from you camera media, a bit restrictive on what you can do to modify the images.

Best thing about the iPad -- no keys for our mascot to remove. She uses them to floss her teeth. But, I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures from it to lists like this one. Maybe if I learned what the cloud does?? The older I get, the faster technology changes. <sigh>

What is the IRV2 No Limits Club? Just noticed it under my name in the left column of my posts. I don't remember joining any club. Another senior moment or ?

Hey Batb - some time ago we were trying to get a group established for people with disabilities - handicapped folks - etc who RV. The outcome was a "club" and related posts get flagged and placed somehow under the club. Since i almost always use the iPhone and can't get to it from the phone - I never use it. Not sure how well it's working. I replied to a thread months ago about a company that installed door lifts in Motorhomes but that's about it.

Hope your journey has resumed. I know you'll be glad to find milder weather ahead.

Yep.
I do over 90% with iPhone, but this RVM wants and needs the laptop for doing the heavy lifting. Roxio VHS tranfer, Sony Vegas Movie Studio, a bunch of photo massagers, MS Excel, to name a few. And also to drive two monster backup drives. The Cloud is not big enough or fast enough for some things.

Just what my ride on the rainbow requires.

But still, what I aint got, I dont need.

Hey Dunner and dogpatch, nice pics!

Mine started acting up too. I'm on my OLD XP laptop until I can get the courage to see what is wrong with my Vista one. Everyone says. "go buy a new one." Pfft... I can't get another like my Vista LP... unless I spend another $1500.

If you haven't done so... have it cleaned.

And... After having it cleaned, immediately go with windows 7 if possible. Vista was an abomination. I bought an HP in 2009 with Vista. They promised me a free upgrade to win 7, bit I thought it wouldn't need it. Well I spent hours on the phone the first week I had it, after 2 weeks, I took it back to best buy, and they gave me the win 7 upgrade. At least it was use able after that.
Sorry to rant, I will never buy a Windows machine again.

Upgrade to Win7, or if your Laptop will handle it Win8. A total wipe and install of the new OS is the best way to avoid Vista problems that hang on with upgrades.

Or, if you have XP disks, format and install XP.

Sorry but I can't possibly imagine what your Windows laptop has that would cost $1500 to replace. I just bought a loaded HP laptop with Windows 7 installed AND Windows 8 on CD for under $600.

Well, my fellow RVMs, it is Memorial Day Weekend!
We will have a gathering of friends and family here in camp on Sunday.
Along with the standard campfire and burgers and s'mores, we also take time to honor our veterans.
I'm guessing all or most RVMs have family members that have served, and possibly some that fell in service to our Country.
My forefathers and I served in all of the conflicts going back to the Civil War. My Grand Daughter is serving now.

Nola and I salute all of you and yours that have served.

And may God bless us all!

Dave and Nola

To all our Veterans, thank you for your service. I did not serve (other than 4 years ROTC) but my father served in the British Royal Artillery in WWII under Field Marshal Montgomery. He was evacuated at Dunkirk, went back in on D-Day, fought through France, North Africa and all the way up Italy. His unit was poised to enter Germany when the Reich surrendered. I have vivid childhood memories of the tales he told.

^^^ what RVM1 said. Well played sir. Well played.

Safe travels and good times to all RVMs. And let there be fond remembrances of those family and friends who have gone before in service to our country. As a veteran, I salute all who served - especially our RVM members - who may - if they choose - stand up and be counted. USAF Air Traffic Controller, medically retired 1977.
