Careful Dave when you ask, don't do like Ed and ask to cut the cheese!

I'm sorry, that was just a knee jerk post!

Ha look everybody, "Old News" is posting. Sorry I didn't catch all that I've moved on to Irma coverage now!

But, if flood waters reach my house you'd better be prepared for the end!

Side note, many of the game wardens from here was down in Houston with their boats helping in rescue efforts. They returned home for one day and started heading down to Florida. Rumor is this may be a great season with out these guys around! Humm!

Lake Forest Park, WA -- just north of Seattle. They call this dirt glacial till -- fine sandy soil with smooth rock. It's almost devoid of any nutrients. The 8 months of drizzle washes them away. A We're at DD's home for another month, then we head to Little Rock for the Urban Curiosity.

Lily is really exited that she's gonna meet Zorro. I just hope she doesn't share any of her bad manners.

How is your mom?
Mom is defying all odds and is still living in her cottage at the retirement community. But she needs lots of help (me).

Glad to know your son built a hurricane proof home! Just in time!

Larry is defying odds, too. Has been for some time now! Think of you both often and will up the frequency/intensity of prayers/ommms for him and for you, too. Hugs to you both.

Yep.
Actually I had already wished Herb happy birthday on Facebook. Was just sort of poking to see if he's paying attention.

Yea, my BIL lost power yesterday afternoon and it's already been restored this morning! So nothing to report from the Sun City Center area either.

R U a Mutant

We had a great day.

Left Calistoga RV park this AM. Would stay again FHU site, fair ground race track adjoining. Should have spent a few days exploring nice town.

Arrived at Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa. Because of our size we were put in the electric and water only sites. We overlook the road and have a great view out the frt window.
Drove Jeep into San Francisco to get our bearings today, will spend tomorrow riding the trolleys. Came home across the Golden Gate bridge for an added bonus.
