What's your commute time? Didn't realize you were on a later shift...interesting.

So Jackie & Sheba get you all day, then? Fat lot o good that'll do em! Sleep, eat, go back to w%#k; rinse & repeat. You'll love it!

Do you know if you'll be kept on that same schedule the whole time or will you get switched around periodically? Heck, you'll prolly end up in management once they see your potential! 😲

Cheers!

Funny you asked.. I had been commutting over an hour, each way for the last 35 years. We are staying less than 10 minutes from w##k. We could have been across the street but with Jackie staying in the RV we picked this campground. The other one is just a gravel lot with FHU.

Sue not sure if schedule will change or not. Have what is called the donut shift, Wednesday and Saturday off, with Sunday being my overtime day. From what others have told me should plan on working 5 ten hr days... they have even been offered a 6th day. This will make heading north to visit difficult, oh well.

Dennis, so very sorry to hear of Marcie's set back but "doing well, and "home again tomorrow" are encourging words as Tim stated. Many prayers to both of you. And Ohhmms.

Thanks to all for the ohmms and well wishes. It does help! Marcie came home today and will rest up a couple days and then the doc says walk walk walk, a bunch of new pills and a few diet changes and live life. One never knows what is around the corner!

Well if you're wondering... yes, it's hot. We're having an umbrella delivered tomorrow and some misters are on the way...

It's gonna take a big pina colada for this umbrella.

Sena and I went to one of our favorite stores yesterday - Harbor Freight! And I learned an important fact about buying from them. In order to get the best prices and the freebies you MUST have the coupon and they don’t have the flyers with the coupons in the store. You have to come prepared with either the paper coupon or the online version.

https://t.harborfreight.com/?utm_ref...not%20provided

I bought 3 packages of solar powered 16’ rope lights for $9.87. I hope they shine bright enough to deter critters under the RV at night. When we were leaving DD's house I found the start of a critter nest on top of the radiator. I keep some mothballs in an empty uncapped 2 liter bottle sitting on top of the battery, but they had mostly evaporated.

BTW - with the coupons I saved over $20 off $83 worth of products.
