Well if we have to hear news like this it's good to read "doing well" and " home tomorrow ". Don't sweat the travel just take care of the co-pilot, heck get her home and make her some ice cream. Unless of course the over use of the ice cream freezer lead to the new stints. Let her know we're praying for a quick recovery.

Did have day one of w**k yesterday, orientation.
Today is my first real day, hours of 5:00 pm to 3:30 am.

So far so good.

So Jackie & Sheba get you all day, then? Fat lot o good that'll do em! Sleep, eat, go back to w%#k; rinse & repeat. You'll love it!

Do you know if you'll be kept on that same schedule the whole time or will you get switched around periodically? Heck, you'll prolly end up in management once they see your potential! 😲

Cheers!

Funny you asked.. I had been commutting over an hour, each way for the last 35 years. We are staying less than 10 minutes from w##k. We could have been across the street but with Jackie staying in the RV we picked this campground. The other one is just a gravel lot with FHU.

Sue not sure if schedule will change or not. Have what is called the donut shift, Wednesday and Saturday off, with Sunday being my overtime day. From what others have told me should plan on working 5 ten hr days... they have even been offered a 6th day. This will make heading north to visit difficult, oh well.

Dennis, so very sorry to hear of Marcie's set back but "doing well, and "home again tomorrow" are encourging words as Tim stated. Many prayers to both of you. And Ohhmms.
