Marty, I suspect your DIL is angry at the world right now and you are merely a safe and convenient person to take it out on. Does your son have any medical skills? Perhaps he's there to work? Or maybe it's just a safer place for him to be. Can his attorney help you contact him? I know you must be counting the hours until he's released. Ohmms to all.

Well, I called the facility and left a message for his case manager or the unit manager... not sure which, no medical skills, but he was close to graduating and becoming a pastor at one time... in the back of my mind I'm thinking, Chaplain assistant?
DIL texted an apology this AM. Yes, she is angry at the system, world, etc...but actually, I am happy she is expressing her emotions! It just stung a little. No, they don't tell them when they are going to get transferred, or where to, and we have to go to the Bureau of Prisons website to track them.
She contacted his attorney and they are trying to help also. Thanks all!

Welcome RVM#166 aka Rockiemtnhye..

We would like to hear more about you & here is your invitation to the upcoming GC (you will learn more about abbreviations later): North Little Rock, AR, Oct 30 for a week for those that can make it... Hopefully they still have a site ( 501-340-5312 ) Downtown Riverside RV Park, just mention that you are a "Mutant"...

Ann & I (Richard) live in AR & have enjoyed meeting many of this fun group.

We are retired, but only travel part-time.

I like the way you described your dishwasher (two-arm type).

Congratulations for passing the very difficult test & remember, you can send your dues to me... lol

Maybe our new mutants can help with this latest ponder:
I was watching a couple of house flies that had snuck in and buzzing around when I remembered that horse flies are much larger than house flies. However, houses are much larger than horses. Go figure...

Dave, that's because horses have more flesh to feed on than houses. Over millions of years horse flies got bigger from having more to eat.

Where did the house flies come from? Perhaps they'd been out riding horses....

I think we need a volunteer - an RVM with good Facebook knowledge. As most of you know, I send all new RVMs info about our email list and RVillage forum. I think we need someone to send new members info about how to get on the Facebook RVM site, or whatever it's called. Or ... if someone would write up info about how to get there (please include a link) I’ll add it to the welcome letter. Facebook and I just don’t connect easily.
