Updates when ya can.

Well, It appears he isn't a patient there, as his name doesn't have a red mark by it on some list my DIL and her friend found... so he must be in the work camp there.( I don't remember what I have told you all... but he is located currently at a hospital prison in Springfield) I'm contenting myself to writing letters although I've not gotten one back yet. I have no clue if they have caught up with him yet or not.

sister just called crying.. I think the enormity of it all has caught up with her, not to mention going back to a house and home in total Chaos, her daughter & grandson moved in with them, again, back in June, and her daughter isn't too concerned with messiness and dirt...or how she chooses to spend her money when freeloading off her parents. It is a major stress for her, and I keep encouraging her to write up a contract stipulating what she needs her to do to stay there or get out. She's just going to have to understand Mom's whole world has tilted on it's axle and things are going to have to be different. Now is as good a time as any to lay down the law.

We just bought our Ultra 60 yesterday, 6 qt, from Kohl's on sale. I'm planning baby back ribs for its first run, since I've heard raves about that more than any other recipe.

RVillage has a group (maybe more than one?) just for Instant Pot owners. Recipes, tips, stories ....

Thanks Sue! Let me know how you like it. The 8 quart is 20 lbs and bigger than a bread box lol. But I was still leaning that way... remember the pics!!!

Hey Steve! Sparky's 2nd cousin twice removed just came for a visit. Our feline Tikka has sat face 2 face w/ him before.

Not the best shot, but Sparky might recognize his Fox squirrel cousin.

Notice the rascal has managed to get inside my carefully crafted squirrel-proof cage to eat tomato vine. If I didn't know better, I'd call him the black sheep of the family.

First, we are home. Arrived at 12:00 p.m., after spending the night at Rayford Crossing RV Resort. It's about 60 miles or so from the house. No incidents and was amazed at the 60˚ wheel cut on the new MH.

Steve, we may be perplexed so make sure you introduce yourselves when we see you. We could walk right by and not know who you are now. :-)

Well of course Steve. We have the Instant-Pot Smart 60. I don't think they make an 8 quart one yet. The 6 qt is more than enough for us. I like the Bluetooth because of the interaction between the phone and the pot. Look up one of the recipes - add ingredients then use phone to program and start the pot. My favorite so fart is New England Clam Chowder, if you are interested. You can download the Instant Pot Smart Pot App and look at the recipes.

We have done pulled-port, 5lb shoulder, a rack of ribs - can't remember what else.

We originally started out with the Geek-Chef Electric pressure cooker (Same principle as Instant-Pot) and ended up giving it to my DIL. To much interpolation from instant pot
recipes and the Geek-Chef. You can find an enormous amount of Instant-Pot recipes.
