Well Timster, you should be eternally grateful that Mary has such terrible taste in men. You on the other hand did really, really well.
Merry Christmas from our abode to yours.

From Dave and Nola, our holiday wishes via a flashback from this day in 2014:
On a fulltime travel life....
We dreamed of going fulltime for decades and are into our 3rd year.
Our blog has 62 entries about just the highlights so far, but is over 20 entries behind because of being so busy!
Both of us have health issues, but plod on from one exciting Journey to another with great joy! This joy reaches far beyond the confines of a sedentary life, even it it means devices and gizmos to get us out and about.
We will travel until we cannot or change our minds, and then rent so we can MOVE. Saddling up to the responsibilities of a house, financially and physically, is simply too taxing to contemplate in the late stage of life.
Letting things happen in a mostly random fashion while never having a regret has worked well for us. If we had approached this life planning for all possible contingencies, it would have never begun. And we know many that have "what iffed" until the boat left without them.
We discovered many years before retirement that the best plan is most often NO PLAN. Doing so in a fearless and haphazard manner provides greater joy, in our opinion.
That's about it for now.
Happy Trails!

When I grow up I want to be just like you. Oh... wait a minute I think I am there!
Seriously I really envy you guys. If it were not for the health insurance thing for us to be across the border we would most likely join the life.
Enjoy the ride!

Ya know, slick...no one sez ya gotta stay put for insurance...when ya'll get stabilized, you can make your trips back to the Homeland for your doc appts and to visit relatives in the summer. Don't know how that insurance Di used to get Larry back worked, but if it's available up there...you could always get air transport back for huge things....we have little non. Acute free standing places all over for things like stitches, sinus infections...etc. shoot...lots of places you can Skype with a doc about your problem or snap a pic of a rash or spider bite and send it via text....I'd be hunting doable options if you wanted it badly enough... surely Canada has up to date things you could find so you are not thetherd there year round ... Heck even medical treatment in Mexico is cheaper when you pay cash....

I am quite accustomed to having my Royal Accoutrements coveted. AND they are not always in stock at the Dollar Store.

Yeah slick, you can always call on me for your medical needs. Psychological exams 5¢.
