As for that bacon-basted turkey, 4 of us finished off half the bird and bacon, so I reckon it was not bad. 'Course my recipe said to put the bird breast down, so my bacon quilt basted its back.... I believe the correct term for becoming over physical tolerances would be over- baconating.

So...we have had some big changes in our world ....Friday my eldest son's wife gave birth to the first grandchild. Then on Sunday...the 3rd son (out of 4 total) announced his impending fatherhood.
So.... I haven't been keeping up as well ad I usually do! Lots and lotsnesses of posts!

Earlier today I may have mentioned something about a smoked pork shoulder. Well I finally woke up enough to pull it. Anyone like pulled pork sandwiches?
