I have taken ours to a Cummins Diesel shop. Here they are also an Onan shop. They have always done excellent work & reasonable...

Hope you find what you need & enjoy the rainbow..

Sorry to have missed it, whatever it's moniker... but we've been stayin busy. We pulled into Yuma on Jan 1st. On the 5th I had 4 teeth pulled and bridge removed. Went back today and had remaining 6 uppers pulled. I now have no upper teeth, bone grafts and set up for 9 implants. Go back Wednesday for the next step. Gonna take a while but had to be done. I'll be enjoying baby food for some time. Hard to grasp not being able to eat Pho. Can't even gum my way through noodles. Oh the humanity. And to make matters worse- got there at 9 - left about 3:30 But then stood in line 1.5 hours to get out. The line actually crossed the river...
Just put that Pho into a blender and make a smoothie out of it... Hugs for you, That's a brave thing to be doing too!

Okay, Allen and I have a question. We took Clora Mae to a repair shop to have them look at the generator. They told us they could fix it, but it would be a rebuild and it would be $2,000. Before we go ahead and spend that two grand, are there any other options that are less expensive? We are open to thinking out of the box so throw ideas our way.

Allen says, just to tell you including a portable generator as an idea.

Thanks, mutants!

Charlene
That is what we do with the Honey when power is needed en-route or after we get there. We have a shelf that goes into the hitch receiver and the generator travels on there and the motohome plugin just plugs into it... Bob fashioned a couple of clamps to hold the cord as it goes around to the back of the Motorhome. We Cannot pull a toad for that set up though. The other thing we do is when we are pulling the powered parachute with us, he sits the generator on the tongue of the trailer and has it secured there. Honey is very old and we looked to see if we could find a generator large enough to run the AC that would fit in the old one's spot... and it seems there wasn't one made at this time. Maybe someday we can switch stuff around in the diningroom/bedroom and make a space large enough for one... but who knows how long the Old lady is going to keep carting us around on our adventures!
