I agree, and would especially like to get the heck out of dodge in my current residence in the summer!

I would like to go to Cali Beaches in the summer, but find the costs a bit too prohibitive. Perhaps a group thing would bring that cost down.

If your wanting cooler western weather, I'd suggest WA or northern OR. The rain departs the PNW in mid June and stays away until September. Daytime temps in Seattle area are in the 70's and the sun even shines.

California is the one state I can't even drive thru with Sena. They have very nasty laws against the private ownership of monkeys.

Hey folks, how about we load our Curiosity site ideas into the RVM website so Steve can gather and report? K?

Hey Steve !!!

I just wanted to say that we are pretty much free to do as we choose, except for next June, gotta be in Michigan for my nieces high school graduation.

Now back to the refrigerator issues, after having read 4 different PDF files and making test after test and diagnostic after diagnostic, I took off the burner cover, and what did I find .... nothing but ammonia stains .... so the Cooling Unit is in fact and indeed toast .... So later this week I will be ordering a new Amish Cooling Unit from Dave Force ... with new heaters and new fans as well .... and then the fun will begin by putting the replacement back in the hole Merry Christmas to the Beaver Lodge ... my Magic Carpet Ride .....

Cheers !!!

I've thought about getting a metal detector, but gold panning looks cold and more work than my poor old back can take.

I bet you're planning to hit the diamond fields in AR this Spring. What's the most exciting thing you've found?

I tried the digging for jewels thing once but the jeweler and the police showed me the error of my ways.

We have three sites we frequent looking for gold in Island rivers. So far I have made maybe $400.00 total in gold and it only cost me about $4,000.00 to achieve this remarkable bounty.

The China Creek and Oyster Rivers are sometimes worth panning and there's a creek way up north of the Island that yields flakes every so often. Nothing major but it does make panning fun.
