Well, I was going to post some pictures of the kids, Earlene, Marcia and Jeff playing on the Battleship Texas in La Porte, TX., but for some reason it keeps telling me the sites busy. Hmmm!

If so, look for a 3 or 4 brass looking button on the door frame and the door. When the door is closed these make contact with each other and make electronic things happen. Use a pencil eraser and clean them.

If not, check if there is a magnet somewhere on the door frame. Check for continuity. When door is open I think the continuity should be in an open state.

Of course, you could always just carry a step stool and go Arkie Redneck!

p.s., Same steps I have on the Winne and probably on many other MH's.
LOL... that's what we do with Honey, but she is an old gal and Di's is relatively new and warrants fixing. They don't need any falls... they have had enough physical wear and tear on their poor bodies the last few years.

Seek medical or psychological help ASAP! Something must be seriously wrong.

Growing up, I had toy boats. I was in command! Then, I rowed boats, fished from boats, then exploded boats. You know? Plastic boat models of all kinds, but the carriers and battleships required more attention!
Yup, lighted airplane glue leading from the forward gun turrets, along the side, down into the ammo deck.... and BOOM!!! The Black Cat wiped it out.
Ahhh, the best of times

After visiting the Battleship Texas we all went over to the San Jacinto Monument and this is the view of the Battleship Texas from the observation deck.
