This is the song we were telling you about, on the phone, this morning.

I will be leaving prior to the MI rendezvous, sometime in August. It is quite a long trip for me, from here to there, and a previously planned September departure, coupled with all the folks I must visit, trumps over the return here for another month or so.
They say they are sorry to see me go, as my park beautification project has been so far, a great success, and are hopeful that I will return next year.
I have enjoyed my stay here, and by next month will have firmly installed my truck cap, and built an interior frame of sorts. I have basically all the equipment that I require for now.
Once I am ensconced somewhere in Arizona this winter, I plan to add solar. My current plan is to head South a bit, to PA and visit two families. I may swing thru Kentucky, on my way to IA, MN, WI, and MI. As things are right now, my plans will adjust as needed.
I am looking forward to the journey, and the people. I have made several great friends here. And it is gorgeous!
I am hopeful, that in the spring, I will be able to head north to Alaska. I lived there from '96 to '11. I did not see everything I wanted back then, and more people to visit also.
Looking forward to Mackinaw!

Boy am I looking forward to hearing the whole story! Not to mention seeing your new home. I'm impressed already, & I haven't even seen it yet.
BTW, if you're travelling between KY & IA, IL & IN are sort of in the way. Several mutants inhabit these parts, & can be flushed from their lairs. Our particular lair offers water & 30/50 amp hookups for passing mutants. There might be a mini-c hereabouts, if it fits your schedule.
Cheers!

Too funny! Did you notice in the comments below that these guys performed for the Society of those docs? Can you imagine them singing that song to an audience of half drunk CR surgeons?

I realized recently that the odds of us making it to the Michigan GC are about zero. I do all my medical stuff while we're here in the summer. Short of a miracle, there is no way I can get it all done in time to get there.

It will NOT be the same without you... But we understand.
Queen Ann will be the first to tell you, we missed several because of health, but health has to be the FIRST priority...
