I guess that is why we love our dogs. Besides, Sandee is allergic to cats.

Steve,

Our cat thought we were just the hired help, appointed to make sure we kept his house up to his standards and he was just a barn cat.

Cheers !!!

A superb cat ponderance, by a non-Mutant. I bet we can beat that!

Davvve, how would you happen to know Christoper Hitchens mutant status? Unless you mean he's not a member of this group. I'm finding more and more true mutants, in every walk of life, now that I'm paying more attention to what goes into being a mutant.

Ahhhhh. I have struck a chord, or maybe a dischord?

Ponderances are part of the essense of a Mutant. Mr Hitchins may have been so, but he has passed on.

You know critters, Barb. Got ponderance? You do one, I will try to match it. :-)

EDIT-

May I propose a Mutant ponderance challenge?
Is the game afoot?

To understand the difference between cats and dogs is evidence of mutant tendencies.

You can reason with and shame a dog. A few words, the right tone, and you have their attention. A cat will look you right in the eye as if to say, are you nuts.

With the right words a dog will go to his corner and lay down. With the words "come here" a cat will do the same thing.

With you there, Cindy! We live vicariously through the pets of others.
Our daughter and fam have Bisquit, an American Eskimo. That and son and DIL with 4 cats, plus all of the pets out "here" keep us quite entertained.

Some of our neighbor furries know what pocket I keep (allowed) treats in (he said, very properly ending a sentence with a preposition).

Ponder this -- Why is it that we allow our furkids to get away with doing the very same things that we would never allow our kids and grandkids to do?
