Now that you're retired, you should take it up again. Make no attempt to improve. Ever seen a Rothko or Pollock. You may be on to something!

Ok Y'all, ya got me on this one!!!

When RVM1 wrote "As RVMs, it is so grand that it all works so well, lest we become stable. Nonono!!!" I "thought" Nonono must be a word. So I looked it up:

" NoNoNo" is a song by South Korean girl group A Pink.

OR

NONONO – a swedish trio consisting of producer team Astma & Rocwell and singer/songwriter Stina Wäppling, based in Stockholm.

Confused, as I routinely am and after pondering for some time, I decided to say it out loud. THEN (and only then) did I get it.

Ok, ya got me...

It is also the text version of emote. When you use an iPhone you learn them. It is typed without spaces as : nonono :
As is the word thumb for and rofl for

See, as a mutant I should not be expected to know that...about those fancy phones, eh?. I'm still upset that they made me get a phone with push buttons last year...

HEY, why don't they make a "cell phone thingy" that has a proper rotary dial like a phone should have anyway?

At the very least they culd make an app that would give you the sound of the rotary dial clicks when you dial each number. I miss those!

Cool. I'll have to get my grandson to do it for me. I can barely make a call most days.

Konichiwa Steve san. Moshimoshi.

Sansei. Many meanings for sansei. I like the one that means "fish", as in sushi, but I much prefer sashimi with wasabi.

Maxwell Smart and his shoe phone was much like Dick Tracey and his wrist radio, but Tracey was first. Do you have a Lone Ranger decoder ring?

That is as wise and gifted as I can be today.

Indeed DT was before Max and 99. I don't recall an actual TV or Movie appearance of such a home before Max though. Could have been. No telling what all 007 had going for him in Fleming's books and before the big screen.

Ah the age of wonderment. What will future mutants - being born into RVM families even today - be traversing the rainbow in and how will they communicate? Will today's RVs be the tent equivalent of tomorrow? Talk amongst yourselves.
