Soooo....post 79K came from across the pond, on foreign soil, on a foreign train, by a couple of mixed soilage (for lack of worse words).
Congrats!

I found the formula for the hot bacon butty:
The formula is: N = C + {fb (cm) . fb (tc)} + fb (Ts) + fc . ta, where N=force in Newtons required to break the cooked bacon, fb=function of the bacon type, fc=function of the condiment/filling effect, Ts=serving temperature, tc=cooking time, ta=time or duration of application of condiment/filling, cm=cooking method, C=Newtons required to break uncooked bacon.

Welcome aboard Ed #2 RVM177. It was nice chatting with you the other evening.
To all RVM's, Ed is another Marine in our midst.
Semper Fi!
BTW Ed, you will be receiving information on our other means of communications from Barb. When you do be sure to ask me for my theme song. Don't pay any attention to those who pretend not to like it.

Ha Ha! I like it. Actually, the secret is in the bun enclosing the bacon.

Really cracking on now - about 50 miles to go. The complimentary meal and drink service on this train has been superb, especially since we are traveling on a free retired staff 1st class travel card!

A 'hot bacon butty'? Do I need to consult the Urban Dictionary or something?

You plagiarized that formula.
Here I was thinking how creative you were. I googled the hot bacon buddy to see what it was and found the same link.

Ya, that was an interesting tarp experience! I tried to set one up today in a stiff breeze. Ugh. Shade moves around the truck... it’s thoroughly waterproof now. Still discarding stuff that I dragged from NY lol. I have been offered a job lol. Seems to happen every where that I stop. But anyway, I’m actually going through the interview next week, when the ranger gets back from his long-awaited hunting trip. 2 days a week, in air conditioning, 7-8 hrs. $180 fee waived (refunded,) and $75/mo. I could use something to do with the public 2 days a week! More room in the truck bed, and in the backseat. Barb enabled me to remove the rather useless jump seats. More mods in the future. Considered removing the passenger seat. Maybe on my Alaskan journey. Weather is... perfect! It is also beautiful! So, who is visiting near Quartzsite in the near future and when? Looking forward to it.

Me thinks if you look at my post i said "I found..." not that I made it. You need to read from the beginning to the end and not just the parts that interest you. Sheesh!
