Very stylish, you two! But Wayne I think you'll need a new purse with that hat. The polka dots clash with the antlers.

I hardly don't think so; not even in the slightest.

Now why'd y'all even think that in the first place?

RVM -- Recreational Vehicle Mutant - a person or family who has met the admission requirements by declaring 1) what their RV doesn't have and they don't miss, 2) that the journey is the destination.

Successful candidates are then assigned the next available RVM number. In families the applicants are assigned the primary number, and the spouse uses the same number with an "A" suffix added. For instance : Dave is RVM1 and Nola is RVM1A

Rainbow -- revered by all RV mutants as the best place to be. Rainbow riding is being in travel mode as an RVer.

Mutopia - the ultimate RVM world where every day on the Rainbow is perfect and all Mutants live in harmony, traveling without being attacked by the boogie monster or trolls.

RVM0 (RVM zero) -- the original RVM who brings presents to all good little boys, girls and RVMs every December 25th.

RVMoon -- our official celestial body

Curiosity -- a collection of 2 or more RVMs

Mini-C -- a meeting of 2 RVMs

Midi-C -- a get together of 3-5 RVMs

Great Curiosity (gC) -- a gathering of 6-9 RVMs

Grande Curiosity (GC) -- when 10 or more RVMs get together to play.

FMC -- Fantastic mini-C or midi-C

Lust List -- one of many lists that the queen of finger slides maintains

KUMP -- Keep Us Mutants Posted

Ohmm or Ommm -- the magic healing power of the RVM community. Ohmms are sent to those RVMs in need of special attention.

Turbohms - high powered turbocharged ohms. Used when a high concentration of focused ohms are needed.

Mohmms -- healing wishes sent to mechanical or inanimate objects

Loohmms -- powerful vibes sent to assist lottery playing Mutants

Wohhhmmms -- wishes for wonderful future weather, especially great GC weather.

Coohmms - special healing magic reserved just for computers and related hardware.

Hoohmmz - RVM magic for sticks and bricks homes needing to sell so that fulltime RVing can begin

Great Poohbah -- RVM1's official ceremonial title

Mutant Master of Lucidity -- RVM5's official ceremonial title

Official RVM Historian -- Deb (Ogeoisplash) RVM107

The Three Mutanteers -- those 3 Mutant tricksters -- Dennis, Tim and Wayne. Designated as those who are picked on the most.

PoP -- (Picture of Proof) Satisfies Mutant requirement of "pictures or it didn't happen"

Deer camp rules -- inspired by Tim, deer camp rules are when you provide your own tableware (plate bowl, silverware, etc.) for group meals and are responsible for the cleaning of such items.

Mutanistic -- the act of a mutant wondering aimlessly about the rainbow

Murker -- Mutant lurker, to view the RVM thread without comment

Murk - mutant lurking

Mutalicious -- wonderfully tasty. Food fit for royalty and RV Mutants

MMDC and MMDC west -- magical Mutant abodes in Kansas and Nevada inhabited by Mr. Malone, Don and Colleen

RVM temps -- those magical unpaid worker bees who do the heavy lifting tasks

IWARP -- I Want A Rubi People -- that group of mutants who are hoping Santa, aka RVM0, will bring them a Jeep Rubicon

FMM - Foul Mouth Mutant - a disease that is horribly contagious and spreads rapidly thru RVMdom causing an epidemic of postings using obscene language.

MHC - specific advise given by Doc Huntnski to treat Mutant specific ailments

SOS -- Slower, Older, Smarter -- the state of most RVMs

STM -- Sick, Twisted Mutants

SFM -- Sliding Finger Mutant

SFS -- Sliding Finger Syndrome -- highly contagious in Arkansas

Finger Slide -- not a typing error, but when the typing finger slides to the key next to the correct key.

TOT -- (that other thread) refers to the "Are you a thread killer?" thread on IRV2 where many Mutants also hang out and chew the fat.

W--k -- What most people do Monday thru Friday in exchange for a paycheck before retirement. RV Mutants consider this word to be obscene so it is never used in polite company.

Toad -- any vehicle towed behind an RV

MH or Moho -- motorhome

DP -- diesel pusher (diesel fueled motorhome with a rear engine)

S&B - sticks and bricks. Those boring places some call home that are firmly rooted to the ground

Family shortcuts

DW -- dear wife or the D may be a substitute for any other word starting with D such as darling, dangerous, damn or demented.
DH -- D____ husband
DD -- Darling daughter
DS -- Dear son
DGD -- Darling grand daughter
MIL -- Mother-in-law
FIL -- Father-in-law
DIL -- daughter-in-law
SIL -- son-in-law or sister-in-law
BIL -- brother-in-law
Grands -- grandchildren

We need to keep these fresh in our minds for when we give up the English language all together
